Blumhouse has two new series that you should definitely check out if you are a true crime fan, “The Thing About Pam,” and “Worst Roommate Ever,” which is currently number one on Netflix. The Thing About Pam, which premieres tonight on NBC, is produced by Blumhouse Television, NBC News Studios, and Big Picture Co. is based on the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria that resulted in her husband Russ’s conviction, although he insisted he didn’t kill her. He was later exonerated. This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp. A thorough examination of the scheme was featured on several episodes of “Dateline NBC,” becoming one of the most popular topics to ever air on the hit NBC franchise. Last month IFC Midnight unleashed the trailer for the darkly funny horror-thriller Barbarians, from writer-director Charles Dorfman, executive producer of Rabid, VFW, and Satanic Panic, who is making his feature directorial debut. Now the official poster has been unveiled (below), featuring bound and gagged stars Iwan Rheon (“Game of Thrones”) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace). A new trailer is here for You Won’t Be Alone, starring Noomi Repace (Lamb, Prometheus), and it is as equally stunning as it is unnerving. The folk horror film is “Set in an isolated mountain village in 19th century Macedonia, the film follows a young girl who is kidnapped and then transformed into a witch by an ancient spirit. Curious about life as a human, the young witch accidentally kills a peasant in the nearby village and then takes her victim’s shape to live life in her skin. Her curiosity ignited, she continues to wield this horrific power in order to understand what it means to be human.” Australian-Macedonian writer-director Goran Stolevski makes his feature debut with You Won’t Be Alone that’s already being hailed a “masterpiece” by critics. Ben Aldridge & Jonathan Groff Join M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Knock At The Cabin’

M. Night Shyamalan’s highly anticipated film Knock at the Cabin continues to add to its already impressive cast, with Ben Aldridge (“Pennyworth”, Our Girl) and Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”, The Matrix: Resurrections), signing on to star, Deadline reports. Aldridge and Groff join previously announced cast members Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead, Dune), Rupert Grint (“Servant”, Harry Potter franchise), and Nikki Amuka-Bird, who also starred in Shyamalan’s previous film Old. While many of the plot details remain secret, which is normal for a Shyamalan movie, we have heard that it is a home invasion horror that is set during the apocalypse.
