Welcome Villain Films has unleashed its tense, cat-and-mouse thriller on VOD platforms. The indie festival hit, Hunt Her, Kill Her, is directed by Ryan Thiessen and Greg Swinson. The film premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival and garnered nominations from several genre film fests, including HorrorHound, Chicago Horror Film Festival, and many others. “Hunt Her, Kill Her follows a lone night shift janitor during her first night on the job who finds herself in an unexpected fight for survival when she becomes the target of sinister masked intruders. As their disturbing motives become clearer, she must use her crafty instincts and barbaric violence to survive the night.” Natalie Terrazzino stars as the lead, facing off against JC Oakley III, who plays the film’s villain. In December, we reported that a new installment of the Insidious franchise is coming. The title has now been confirmed as Insidious: The Red Door. Patrick Wilson, who starred in the first two films, is returning to the franchise, not just to star as Josh Lambert, but will also make his directorial debut with the fifth installment. He will star alongside returning cast members Ty Simpkins, who will reprise his role as Dalton Lambert, Josh’s son, and Rose Byrne, who played Josh’s wife, Renai Lambert. The new movie is set ten years after the events of the second film. “Josh Lambert (Wilson) heads east to drop his son Dalton (Simpkins) off at an idyllic, ivy-covered university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.” Scott Teems (Halloween Kills) penned the script based on a story by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell (The Invisible Man). An ancient evil is unleashed in the first official trailer for Malice, which is creepy as hell. Directed by Michael Crum (Lake of Fear franchise). The film is an adaptation of a short film by Crum, released in 2013. In the film, “An ancient evil is unleashed upon six people in a cabin that possesses those who are close to death. They must battle against the plague and seal it away before it takes them all over.” Malice, which is currently in post-production, is set to be released later this year from MGI Films.

Radio Silence (Southbound, Scream, Scream VI) is back in the director’s chair for a new “untitled monster thriller” from Universal Pictures. While many of the film’s details are being kept quiet at this point, we know that Melissa Barrera, who starred in the last two Scream movies, is set to star in the horror film, according to Deadline. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence will direct. The script was penned by Stephen Shields, with revisions by Guy Busick. Chad Villella is producing alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and James Vanderbilt for Project X Entertainment. Sean Patrick Flannery is known for his many roles in films like Powder, Boondock Saints, and Suicide Kings and appearances in series such as “The Boys.” Flanery’s latest role is in the supernatural thriller Nefarious, set to be released in theaters today (April 14th). I sat down for an interview with the talented actor to discuss his most famous roles and his double role in the new film Nefarious, in which he gives an amazing performance. In the film, “On the day of his scheduled execution, a convicted serial killer (Flanery) gets a last-minute, court-ordered psychiatric evaluation. The killer astonishes visiting psychiatrist Dr. James Martin (Belfi) by insisting that instead of trying to avoid his execution, he is, in fact, a demon—Nefarious—who wants his execution to go forward. Nefarious further predicts that before the day is out, the doctor will have committed three murders of his own. As a storm gathers outside the prison, Nefarious chips away at Dr. Martin’s

Trenque Lauquen tells the story of Laura, a biologist cataloging plant species in the small town of Trenque Lauquen, Argentina, who has gone missing. Her boyfriend and a driver she’s worked with teamed up to track her down. The two men share stories and tour the doldrums of the Las Pampas area. As they get to know one another, they begin to unravel the mystery behind Laura’s disappearance, discoveries that lead to other discoveries, and even more questions. The deeper we go into the rabbit hole, the more the film begins to unfold like a giant map—sprouting stories within stories in a labyrinth of genres, characters, and vivid flashbacks.
