Over the past few years we have seen a horde of reboots, remakes and sequels. Now it seems the 1983 slasher film ‘Sleepaway Camp’ has been added to that list. The cult classic is being given an over haul by Jeff Katz. Katz will co-produce the movie along side the movie’s original writer/director Robert Hilzik, Michele Tatosian. ‘Sleepaway Camp’ follows the story of Angela (Felissa Rose), a shy girl who has been sent to camp. Angela is soon being targeted by bullies. It’s not long before people, with bad intentions, start turning up dead. The movie will be updated with a modern setting, while honoring the original. I’m glad to hear that so many people involved in the first ‘Sleepaway Camp’ will be taking part in the new movie. The news of the reboot has just begun to be released, hopefully we will hear who will star in the modern version soon. We do know that Felissa Rose, the original

In the 2010 zombie film ‘The Dead’ a zombie plague spreads through Africa like wildfire. Now the Ford Brothers are back with the 2014 sequel ‘The Dead 2: India’. Nicholas, an American engineer working in India is in love with a young Indian woman, who is pregnant. When people begin attacking each other in the streets Nicholas abandons his post to make the journey to the slums of Mumbi, to rescue his girlfriend Ishani (Meenu Mishra) . On the way he rescues Javed, a young orphaned boy, and together they set out to make the dangerous trip to the heart of the outbreak. ‘The Dead 2 ‘ goes beyond the average zombie movie, though they never say the word ‘zombie’ at any point. What it lacks in special FX it more than makes up for it with the story. The zombies are secondary characters in this movie, instead it focuses on the story between the uninfected. It’s common in many

The friends cast a homeless man as their killer, not knowing that he takes killing very seriously. ‘Cut!’ was written by David Banks and David Rountree, both who played roles in the film. Rountree directed the film and played the role Travis. Banks played the role of the psychotic parolee, Lane. Seasoned actor Sam Scarber (Shocker) fills the role of homeless man/killer for hire. Travis is not being completely honest with Lane. After being tormented by the murders he’s committed in the name of film, he finds out that Travis and the homeless man are actually partners and that they have faked everything. ‘Cut!’ is a little slow off the starting line but soon picks up speed to reveal a complex story and a story line unique to the slasher genre that will leave you questioning
