Blumhouse’s Hypnotic True Story Series “Look Into My Eyes” Premieres

Blumhouse’s new true story-inspired series “Look Into My Eyes,” like nothing you’ve ever seen, is now streaming on AMC+. The series explores the strange but true story of Dr. George Kenney, the former principal of North Port High School. After three students die under mysterious circumstances, a common link is identified – all were hypnotized by Dr. K. In reality, Dr. George Kenney fell from grace after serving ten years as a beloved principal at North Port High School in Florida, where he practiced hypnosis on over 70 students. In 2011, three students took their lives after seeing Kenney. When a local media story questioned his involvement and the possibility that he caused the deaths, the case went viral. In the end, Dr. Kenney pleaded no contest to two counts of practicing hypnosis without a license. He avoided jail time but did get one year of probation. Watch “Look Into My Eyes” today on AMC+ or Sundance.

Criminally Underrated Horror Movies You Need To Watch (Part III)

Criminally Underrated Horror Movies You Need To Watch (Part III)

The third volume of our series, ‘Criminally Underrated Horror Movies You Need To Watch,’ provides more great films you may have missed. Be sure to check out Part I and Part II of our list. Keep an eye out for more lists to come. The Exorcist III (1990) The Exorcist III is the only film (in my opinion) that comes close to the quality of the original movie. Featuring a fantastic cast that gave powerhouse performances, The Exorcist III is simply brilliant. In the film, “A police lieutenant uncovers more than he bargained for as his investigation of a series of murders, which have all the hallmarks of the deceased Gemini serial killer, leads him to question the patients of a psychiatric ward.” Skeleton Key (2005) This horror-filled film stars Kate Hudson as a hospice nurse working at a spooky New Orleans plantation home who finds herself entangled in a mystery involving the house’s dark past. Where to watch: Starz,

Can The Walking Dead: Dead City Save The Franchise?

Can The Walking Dead: Dead City Save The Franchise?

The Walking Dead universe has been in decline for several years, as viewing figures suggest. The main series peaked in season five when it had a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 90 percent, and then took a downward turn in seasons seven and eight when it picked up scores of 66 and 65 percent, respectively. Despite The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead gradually shedding viewers over the years, AMC has decided to double down on its zombie franchise with three brand-new spinoffs. The first of these will be The Walking Dead: Dead City, which certainly has the potential to pull people back and help them fall in love with this post-apocalyptic world again. When Did The Walking Dead Start to Decline? The turning point for the flagship series was when Steven Yeun’s Glenn Rhee was killed off brutally at the beginning of season seven. The horrifically graphic nature of that event was too much for many people to stomach,

Amazing Horror Series You Might Have Missed (Part II)

Penny Dreadful (2014-2016) I can’t express how disappointed I was when the series that explores classic monsters came to an end. Incredibly well-written with outstanding performances. In fact, I’d be willing to say that “Penny Dreadful” is one of the best horror series ever to be released. If you watch one series from the list, make it this one. Where To Watch: Showtime, Apple TV, FUBO Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020) The spin-off series has a completely different tone and follows a cop as he investigates horrific murders and the corruption of the police force in Los Angeles in the 1930s. Where To Watch: Prime Video, FUBO iZombie (2015-2019) The award-winning series, part zombie show, part comedy, and part police drama, follows a medical resident who finds that being a zombie has its perks as she helps a cop solve crimes. Where To Watch: Netflix Z Nation (2014-2018) Are you a fan of series like “The Walking Dead” but
