Watch The New Teaser For ‘Sister Death’, The Prequel To ‘Veronica’

Back in 2017, Netflix released Veronica, a Spanish horror film directed by Paco Plaza that still tops lists as one of the service’s most scary films. Now, Plaza is now taking us back into that dark supernatural world with a prequel, Sister Death (aka Hermana Muerte), whose teaser trailer has just been unleashed. Sister Death, set “In post-war Spain, Narcisa (Aria Bedmar), a young novice with supernatural powers, arrives at a former convent, now a school for girls, to become a teacher. As the days go by, the strange events and increasingly disturbing situations that torment her will eventually lead her to unravel the terrible skein of secrets that surround the convent and haunt its inhabitants.” Veronica, which you can watch now on Netflix, centers on a young woman who must fight to protect her family after she unleashes a dark entity while playing with an Ouija Board. The thing that makes the film so disturbing is that it is

Lockwood & Co.: Netflix Kills Off Another Good Series

Lockwood & Co.: Netflix Kills Off Another Good Series

The mystery of Netflix’s obsession with killing off series just when they are getting good continues to baffle me. But it is what it is, I guess. The latest series on Netflix’s chopping block is the action-packed, paranormal series “Lockwood & Co.” after just one season, which is sad because it’s entertaining, emotional, creepy, and intense. In the series, “Teenage ghost hunters scour the streets of London, engaging in deadly combat with the spirits of the night. Among the many adult agencies, one small start-up stands out, Lockwood & Co, run by teenagers Anthony Lockwood, George Karim, and Lucy Carlysle. Together the renegade trio is free of financial motive and adult supervision but destined to change the course of history forever as they unravel a grand mystery.” The massive cast includes Morven Christie, Luke Treadaway, Ruby Stokes, Paddy Holland, Ivanno Jeremiah, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati. Cameron Chapman, Rhianna Dorris, Hayley Konadu, and Jack Bandeira. The series is an adaptation of the

Is Eddie From "Stranger Things" Still Alive?

Is Eddie From “Stranger Things” Still Alive?

“Stranger Things” fans were left on the edge of their seat after the season four finale, and they were crushed by the death of Joseph Quinn’s Eddie, who quickly became a heartthrob that inspired videos, memes, giant cornfield art, and Metallica even paid homage to the character. It looked like Eddie died but could all of the bites from the bat things caused him to change and be revived? Multiple videos are floating around that tease that Eddie is alive but stuck in Vecna’s world. Are they authentic? I have no idea, but they are giving fans hope. They also tease that Eddie may become a villain. Here’s one video from Smasher’s YouTube channel that teases Eddie transforming into a vampire/demon. In the season four finale, the kids finally faced off against Vecna. Unfortunately, he got away. Hawkins is left in ruins, and Sadie is in a coma. There’s little doubt that the kids will face off against Vecna again,

Robert Downey Jr. & Robert Patterson Star In Upcoming Serial Killer Movie

Writer-director Adam McKay (Don’t Look Up) is behind the upcoming serial killer film Average Height, Average Build starring Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Patterson, which will premiere on Netflix. Netflix's DVD Service Is Coming To An End

Netflix’s DVD Service Is Coming To An End

In 1997, Marc Randolph and Reed Hastings founded Netflix, which would forever change how we watched movies. At first, subscribers could just order rental DVDs from the comfort of their own homes. That was before Netflix turned into a streaming service, which led to the downfall of companies like Blockbuster. Over the past 25 years, Netflix has continued to dominate, but now they are phasing out its DVD service. “After an incredible 25-year run, we’ve decided to wind down DVD.com later this year. Our goal has always been to provide the best service for our members but as the business continues to shrink that’s going to become increasingly difficult.” Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said in a statement yesterday. “Those iconic red envelopes changed the way people watched shows and movies at home — and they paved the way for the shift to streaming. From the beginning, our members loved the choice and control that direct-to-consumer entertainment offered: the wide variety

Netflix Is Testing Games For TV

As far as streaming platforms go, they don’t get much bigger or better than Netflix. But, because of Netflix’s unrivaled success for multiple years, it’s led to other services set out to steal its crown. Therefore, Netflix aims to stay one step ahead of the game by potentially bringing games to the fore via its platform. At present, Netflix remains one of the leading streaming services around where TV shows and movies are concerned, but gaming has always been muted as an option for platforms such as Netflix, and it’s a format that has been used in similar scenarios with live gaming and even popular bingo games have been adapted. But why is there a belief that this could this be a reality for Netflix? Well, it turns out that Netflix is currently believed to be working on a feature that will allow users of its service to use their smartphones as a controller. And, more specifically, as a game

Netflix's New Docuseries "Waco: American Apocalypse" Is Out Now

Netflix’s New Docuseries “Waco: American Apocalypse” Is Out Now

Netflix’s latest true crime docuseries, “Waco: American Apocalypse,” explores the infamous 51-day standoff between federal agents and a heavily armed religious group in 1993. The docuseries includes never-before-seen material from the battle between Texas law enforcement, the US military, and the religious cult, the Branch Davidians, led by David Koresh, which began on February 28, 1993, and tragically left 76 men, women, and children dead, as well as 4 ATF agents. The siege began when the ATF tried to serve the cult a search warrant after authorities gathered intel that the group was stockpiling illegal weapons. When the Bearua of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms tried to serve the warrant, all hell broke loose, and a firefight began. The docuseries, premiering TODAY (March 22) on Netflix, will explore the cult, how the siege unfolded, and the aftermath. “Waco: American Apocalypse” will also feature interviews with those involved and never before seen footage.
