Sink Your Teeth Into This Update On The Lost Boys Television Series

We reported back in August that The CW was adapting the beloved classic ‘The Lost Boys’ for a new television series. There has been little news since, until today. Rotten Tomatoes talked with Rob Thomas, the new series’ showrunner, at a Television Critics Association panel this past Sunday where he discussed the show. He revealed that the series was being eyed for a seven-season run, each depicting a different decade where the vampires will be the only ones to featured in each. The first season will be set in “1967 Summer of Love Haight-Ashbury”, Thomas said. He also told the site that we might get to see a crossover from the series and the original film. Vampires stay the same age, so those vampires that we meet in the ’80s in the original ‘Lost Boys’ movies could exist in the 1960s version,” Thomas said. “We could run into them there as well. We might not even have to wait until

Matt Ryan To Reprise His Role As John Constantine In New CW Series

Fans were crushed when NBC canceled the fantastic, perfectly cast, supernatural series ‘Constantine’. They have continued to begs networks to revive the series and The CW was listening. The network has announced that they are bringing ‘Constantine’ back with Matt Ryan reprising his role, but there is a catch, the series will be animated. The show will air on The CW’s digital network, CW Seed. Deadline reports that five 10-minute episodes have been ordered so far. The new show will air alongside CW Seed’s ‘Vixen’, a character who has also made appearances on ‘Arrow‘ and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’. This isn’t the first time Matt Ryan has appeared as an animated Constantine. The character also appeared in this year’s ‘Justice League Dark‘. With so many people interested in ‘Constantine’ I can’t help but wonder why a network hasn’t revived the live action series.

Supernatural Gets New Trailer And Is Renewed

‘Supernatural’ fans may be suffering from withdrawals with the series on its mid-season break, but we have some news that may make missing Sam, Dean, Castiel, and Crowley a little easier to bare. The long-running hit series has been renewed for season 13 by The CW just ahead of its January return. Last we saw, the boys were in a bit of trouble after trying to take down the president, possessed by Lucifer. In the final moments of the mid-season finale Sam and Dean were arrested and thrown into the back of an armored truck. How are the boys get out of this mess? The episode was filled with chaos. Lucifer has found a new vessel (we don’t know yet for sure who) after Sam and Dean exorcised his soul with a nifty item on loan from the British Men of Letters. To make matters worse, the president’s assistant slipped past Cas and went on the run, pregnant with Lucifer’s

Netflix is continuing to expand their original library. One of their new series is ‘Santa Clarita Diet’, starring scream queen Drew Barrymore, as a cannibal. Timothy Olyphant, Thomas Crawford, Christina Ferraro, Terry Walters, Ramona Young, Natalie Morales, and Brenadette Balagtas co-star. Sheila comes to life when she becomes undead,” Barrymore explains. “And I wish that without consequences, of course, everybody could experience that kind of liberation, that kind of strength, that kind of terminator vision, that tingly skin that’s like probably laid dormant in you for a while. And not just censoring yourself…what a fun way that is to live” Olyphant added: “It’s like any kind of long-term relationship — if your partner goes through some changes and tries to strive for something new, it’s both unsettling and it feels a bit threatening, and you have to sort of take it in. But then you have to decide whether you’re gonna go along for the ride. It’s gonna force you

Twin Peaks Premiering This April?

It has been nearly thirty years since ‘Twin Peaks’ aired, but the show still has plenty of die-hard fans. Many were over the moon when news came back in 2015 that Showtime would be reviving the spooky series. It has been a while since we last heard an update. Today, that changes. We have news! It appears the revival may have a premiere date. According to the website Welcome to Twin Peaks, a promotional calendar was sent out by Showtime. The date April 30, 2017 is marked with “Welcome to Twin Peaks”. Showtime has not confirmed the date as of yet, but it would be odd for the promotional calendar to have one specific day marked, unless there is something important about it. Back in April, Showtime unveiled the new massive cast list that includes David Duchovny, Ashley Judd, David Lynch, Michael Cera, Jim Belushi, and Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor (full list below).
