It wasn’t long after ‘The Conjuring 2’ opened in theaters it was announced there would be a spinoff featuring the dark entity, the Nun. Earlier this month we reported that Corin Hardy (The Hallow) will be in the director’s chair. Today, we have a new update. New Line announced today the that ‘The Nun’ will arrive in theaters nationwide on Friday the 13th in July of 2018.
Penned by horror heavy-hitters James Wan (Saw, Insidious, Aquaman) and Gary Dauberman (IT, Annabelle 2), the film will center on the demon Nun who stalked Vera Farmiga throughout ‘The Conjuring 2‘ (review).
