In Cracker County, Florida a group of hillbillies are fighting to save their town, Broken Taint, from the forces of evil. It’s a good thing they’ve got Bubba the Redneck Werewolf on their side.
Director Brendan Jackson Rogers delivers this comedic werewolf film starring Malone Thomas, Mitch Hyman, Gary Norris, Sara Humbert, Chris Stephens and Fred Lass as Bubba. The soundtrack for this fun feature is provided by the rockabilly band The Blast-Offs. Bubba the Redneck Werewolf was born in the pages of the comic by the same name created by Mitch Hyman, in 1996.
Bubba (Stephens), a dogcatcher, wants nothing more than to win back his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Jo (Thomas). When the Devil appears, Bubba signs a deal that is suppose to make transform him into a bad-ass, instead he wakes up as a werewolf (Hyman). Bubba is put to the test when he must save his town from a horde of zombies, bikers and other no-good groups looking to take over his backwoods haven.
Bubba made his debut this past October at Spooky Empire, however the release date for this horror-comedy has not been announced at this time. Be sure to follow the official Facebook page for regular updates.
