Chucky Looks Like A Brand New Doll In The First Look At The ‘Child’s Play’ Remake
The first look at the Child’s Play remake is here and one thing is for sure, ole Chucky looks like a brand new doll. Filming has already begun on the remake from MGM and Orion, directed by Lars Klevberg. It will feature a new take on the killer doll that we all know and love. How different will the remake be? Not only does Chucky look different, but he will also sound different since Brad Dourif, who has long voiced the possessed doll, won’t be voicing the new version. Chucky‘s getting an upgrade. It’s been said that there will be robotic aspects to the doll which may be hacked and made to kill. Here’s another thing, creator, writer, and director Don Mancini has ZERO to do this flick. It will also have nothing to do with the original franchise which is still alive and well. Tyler Burton Smith (Kung Fury 2) wrote the script for the remake starring Aubrey Plaza

Video Game Review Double Feature! ‘Layers Of Fear’ & ‘>Observer_’ For Xbox One
Recently I wrote an article about the bundling of the two horror narrative games, “Layers of Fear” and “>Observer_”. The games’ developer Bloober Team gave me access to play both of their groundbreaking games for one epic review! Since this is a double review, I’m splitting the games up to avoid confusion and the last couple of paragraphs will be my final thoughts on both games. “Layers of Fear” is about a painter in the midst of the mental breakdown and his obsession over his latest art piece that he hopes will put him back on top. After you start looking at your latest work, that’s when the terror starts. As you explore the house, hallucinations begin to take over of paint drenched hallways, malformed specters, and artifacts that reflect your troubled past as you try to explore for answers only have your senses toyed with by the other side. There are times you have to do some problem solving

This October ‘Cucuy: The Boogeyman’ Is Coming To SyFy
Cucuy: The Boogeyman is coming to SyFy this October! Hybrid Entertainment’s original movie is a timely twist on the indelible legend of a story young children are told by their mothers about a Latin American boogeyman known as the Cucuy who would come at night to snatch misbehaving children and take them back to his cave to be eaten. Directed by Peter Sullivan (who helmed Stan Lee’s The Sandman, SyFy’s runaway hit last October), this highly anticipated seasonal gem is set in fictional Glimmer Peak, the kind of small town where nothing ever happens. As the Cucuy, the Mexican Boogeyman, is known for preying on misbehaving children, we chose to revolve the story around a troubled teen currently on house arrest, says director Sullivan. We shot in an abandoned neighborhood on the site of a former state hospital in Pomona, CA. The facility, no longer in use, provided an additional uneasy quality to the film’s aesthetic,” he emphasized. “The holiday
