Movie Review: Cold Moon is a Deft Blend of Southern Gothic and Slasher
What could go wrong here I ask ya: Young Margaret goes riding pell mell on her bicycle all around the small Southern town she calls home. Her grandmother (who I will get back to the deeper we go into this revoltin’ review) begins to engage in a near cataclysmic level of frettin’ which lets us know that things are going to take a turn for the lousy AF with utmost quickness. Not convinced enough? How about that foreboding wind and rain that suddenly roll on in? Or how about that murder machine of a man (who drives a hearse because ‘subtle’ is his middle name) that chucks Margaret of a bridge after strangling her. Well, I guess that last one is more like the actual deed than any sort of foreshadowing, but you know what I mean… Anyway, Margaret’s body is fished out of the water and we learn she was knocked up six ways to Sunday when she met

Max Landis Wants To Make A Movie Featuring Horror’s Most Iconic Killers
For years horror fans have been talking about how awesome it would be to see a movie featuring all our favorite genre icons, Freddy, Jason, Michael, ect… Max Landis, son of the legendary An American in Werewolf filmmaker John Landis, has dreamed up a mind-blowing film and recently shared his idea, which has been brewing for the past 6 years, with the Nerdist’s Writers Panel podcast. The basic idea is that a 17-year-old kid in the foster system gets placed with a family living on Elm Street, the family of Glen Lantz (Johnny Depp’s character in the original Nightmare on Elm Street movie. On his first night, he is drugged at dinner and encounters Freddy Krueger. Freddy stalks the kid…pops out…claws to the face…dead instantly. Except he’s not and Freddy can’t get his claws out of the kid’s face. All of a sudden, chains, like the movie Hellraiser, go all around Freddy…pull him up and lock him…like he’s a scarecrow.”

T. Love’s Top 5 Chilling Classical Musical Pieces For Halloween
Halloween is very nearly upon us, my Little Monsters, and it’s a time when we like to surround ourselves with all manner of, shall we say, spooky shit. We watch our favorite horror films, adorn our homes with decor, or whatever it may take to create the mood that is befitting this ghoulish holiday. But sometimes we need a little something extra to create the proper atmosphere or ambiance, and the right music can absolutely do it. That’s why I have chosen to share five of my favorite (for one reason or another) creepy classical music compositions…in no particular order. Danse Macabre is a “tone poem” that was written by Camille Saint-Saëns and is based on a French legend. According to the legend Death would appear every year on Halloween at midnight and would request the dead to rise from their eternal slumber and dance about on their graves for him as he played a tune on his violin. Upon

I can’t begin to tell you what this has meant to me, to be able to do something constructive for someone else, to be appreciated by
