The owners of the house where ‘The Conjuring’ was filmed are suing Warner Bros. after a horde of overzealous fans have trespassed on the property. According to the documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Gerals Helfrich and Norma Sutcliffe or Harrisville, Rhode Island, are attempting to hold the studio and filmmakers responsible for a “Conjuring-instigated siege of their property.” Since the film was released in July 2013, the couple has faced “threats of physical violence and harm, sleepless nights, and worry that one day, one of the many trespassers will commit an act of destruction, violence, or harm,” the suit alleges. The couple purchased the house in 1987 and say they lived there “in peace” until the film’s release, in 2013. The suit also claims that Warner Bros. made the film and released it without
