A Killer Hides Amongst A Group Of Explorers In ‘Red Woods’
Head into the wilderness this February for Red Woods and watch as things go very wrong for a group of explorers. A group of urban explorers “gathers in Pennsylvania’s Redstone County Forest aiming to capture footage of abandoned houses and tell their stories. But these “house chasers” get more than they bargained for when, after a series of grisly discoveries, they become the subjects of a different kind of story… one in which they are the ones being chased. Trapped in a swathe of woods so remote there’s only one way in or out, they quickly discover that there is evil in their midst. One among them has devised an insidious plot to construct a tale of terror using his victims’ own footage. With cameras rolling, they must navigate a killer’s “playground” of destruction, because their escape is not part of his script.” Red Woods, written and directed by Nicholas Danko, stars Michael Barnett, Jacquelynn Ware, Brian E. Stead, Jennifer

Sylvester Stallone Gets Protective In New Image From ‘Samaritan’
If I have said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, 2018’s Overlord was freaking fantastic, so needless to say I have high expectations for director Julius Avery‘s new dark superhero movie Samaritan starring action hero and general badass Sylversten Stallone (Rocky, Rambo). In the movie, based on an original idea, a young boy learns that a superhero who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle twenty years ago may in fact still be around. Today we’ve got a new image (via Total Films) of Stallone’s title character protecting Javon Walton’s character while in a traffic tunnel. Pilou Asbæk, Martin Starr, Moises Aries, and Dascha Polanco co-star. This is a big event movie – we see our heroes kicking ass,” Avery recently told Total Film. “We’re going to see Sly do things he hasn’t done in a long time, and in a really inventive way. He’s 73 years old! I’m amazed by how much he actually

When the official police investigation hits a dead end, Ryan has a chance encounter with Stan Granger (Andy Lauer ), an oddball neighbor from down the street, and becomes convinced that Stan is the killer. New Streaming Service Combines Other Services For One Fee
I can’t count how many times I have wished that there was an app that connects all of my streaming services instead of having to hunt down something to watch service by service. And I’m guessing I’m not alone. Well, that may not be a problem for much longer. There’s a new streaming service headed our way that will do just that, plus save us some cash. The new service is called Struum and it will allow us to watch streaming shows and movies from various other streaming services without having to buy a subscription to each of them individually. The service hails from the Walt Disney Co. and Discovery Inc. Paul Pastor, the service’s co-founder, told The Wall Street Journal that Struum would also help shine a light on smaller-scale streaming services that have great content but that are less known. The service has already reportedly brokered deals with nearly three-dozen services, featuring more than 20,000 movies, shorts, and

Horror Duo Directing Marvel’s New ‘Moon Knight’ Series
Marvel Studios is continuing to expand its Disney Plus library with “Moon Knight,” a new series based on the comic book character created by writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin. Get this, the series will be directed by the well-known horror directing duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead who brought us Synchronic, The Endless, and Spring, so don’t be surprised if the show has a horror tinge to it. Mohamed Diab (“Clash”) will also direct with Jeremy Slater of “The Umbrella Academy” serving as showrunner. Marvel has not officially announced the cast, but back in October 2020, Variety reported that Oscar Isaac was in talks to play the role of Marc Spector, whose dissociative identity disorder manifests as different distinct personas. One version of the character in the comic, Spector is also the embodiment of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. “Moon Knight” is set to begin filming this March in Hungary with a Disney Plus release

‘Crimes And Passion’ Is A Sexy Thriller That Will Keep You Guessing Until The Last Page – Book Review
Characters When I read the summary blurb about Crimes and Passion by Jeffrey S. Stephens I expected a Basic Instinct-type femme fatale (which isn’t a bad thing) but I couldn’t have been further from the truth. Stephens characters are as unique as they are deep. They are well developed, realistic, and extremely dynamic. Detective Walker is a fantastic character who can be added to the long ancestry of fictional, determined, flawed detectives. Plot In depth, twisted, sexy, and keeps you guessing. There are red herrings all over the place and Stephens is in full control of our suspicions and emotions as we read. This is an exceptionally winding plot that has many stories all tied together by Stevens’ skill as an author. Personally, I don’t know how he not only kept everything straight, but presented it a way that makes sense to the reader, keeps everyone guessing, and increases the intrigue as the plot moves forward. Writing Keeps all the
