Game Review: ‘Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse’
Castlevania is a title that demands respect as one of the strongest franchises in gaming history and has been seen on many consoles over the years. Unfortunately for me, the only title I’ve played was Castlevania 64 for, you guessed it, the Nintendo 64. Now, years later, Konami was awesome enough to allow me to check out the latest entry in the series, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse! Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set 23 years after the events of Castlevania III and the Netflix animated series. Tevor Belmont and his daughter Rose are in Paris after a demonic outbreak occurred and is painting the city red. The duo split up to fight monsters and find the source of the evil, which may actually be caused by an old nemesis. Now, onto the game itself! When it comes to the controls, they are very responsive and simple, almost like an old-school arcade. The game’s art is what shines the brightest for me! I’ve heard the

Canto Bight Would Fail Every KYC Check, And Here’s Why
By Mara D. | Genre culture writer and former iGaming compliance analyst Slug: canto-bight-kyc-check Meta description: Canto Bight looks like the ultimate casino fantasy. Here’s why Star Wars’ sin-city planet would get shut down by any real regulator within a week. Why Canto Bight Would Fail Every KYC Check: What Star Wars’ Casino Planet Gets Wrong About Real Online Gambling Canto Bight never asks anyone’s name. That’s the detail that stuck with me watching The Last Jediagain this week, somewhere between Benicio del Toro’s fingers and the fathier stampede. Rose Tico calls it a town for people who make money exploiting war, and she’s not wrong. Nobody at the high-roller tables is showing ID. Nobody’s wiring funds through a traceable account. It’s just chips, champagne, and a complete absence of anyone asking where the money came from. Which is funny, because that’s exactly the stuff that gets a real casino license pulled in about four seconds flat. I spent six

Spoiler Free Reviews: Valley View Motel and Once Upon a Time in a Horror Movie (Screamfest 2026)
Valley View Motel Official synopsis After a 1977 diamond heist goes sideways, two small-time crooks take refuge at a remote Pennsylvania motel, where a pair of bizarre sibling owners, a ruthless hitman and a night full of bad decisions turn their getaway into a desperate fight to survive the night and make it to their rendezvous before it’s too late. Review Cowriters/codirectors/stars Kevin Ignatius and Nick Psinakis serve up neo noir thrills and slaughter aplenty with Valley View Motel. Set in the 1970s and boasting an aesthetic that wonderfully fits crime cinema of that era without overdoing things, the film features Ignatius as Cliff, the more reluctant half of a diamond thieves duo with the more hotheaded and desperate Reg (Soulo Smith), and Psinakis as Hal, math teacher by day and hitman by night who is hot on the trail after the thieves abscond with the diamond they were meant to hand over to their employer.
