After the long-gestating reboot of The Crow sat in limbo for years watching directors and stars come and come and go Sony finally gave the movie an October 2019 release date with Corin Hardy directing and Aquaman actor Jason Momoa set to star. Today news has come via Deadline that The Crow won’t be arriving as planned. In fact, both Hardy and Momoa have now walked away from the movie. Deadline is reporting that both “formally withdrew from the film this morning.” The site also says that “Sony is close to exiting as the film’s worldwide distributor.” I’m told this has to do with creative and financial differences with Samuel Hadida, whose Davis Films holds the underlying rights and who was financing the film. Production was gearing up to start within the next five weeks in Budapest, and the picture was in full pre-production with Hardy presiding.” Deadline also stated. James Wan On The Conjuring 3 – The Warrens And Werewolves ?

James Wan is on fire. The Conjuring 2 had an amazing opening weekend at the box office, just like the The Conjuring did. Between the films’ success and the long list of investigations by The Warrens, who The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 were based on, it’s a no-brainer that more sequels will be made. It seems that the third installment of the franchise is already in the works, but not yet confirmed by Warner Bros. In a recent interview with Cinemablend Wan discussed one of the many possible subjects of The Conjuring 3 and the chance of it featuring something other than spirits and demons, werewolves. Maybe we can go and do it like a classic American Werewolf in London style. That would be awesome! The Warrens set against the backdrop of The Hound of Baskerville. Even though The Conjuring franchise has focused on spirits and possession up to this point, Ed Warren did publish a book titled Werewolf:
