Quinton Aaron Joins Serial Killer Film Rock Paper Dead

One of the genre films I am most looking forward to in 2017 is Rock Paper Dead, from ‘Friday the 13th’ creator Victor Miller and co-writer Kerry Fleming (Opening Day). Genre legend Tom Holland, known for his classics ‘Fright Night’ and ‘Child’s Play’, is in the director’s chair. ‘Rock Paper Dead’ follows Peter Harris (Luke Macfralane), aka “The Doll Maker”, who returns to his ancestral estate after his release from the state asylum for the criminally insane. After 20 years inside the institution he has been deemed as “cured”. When Peter steps inside the old house memories of his tortured childhood and past victims come flooding back. It isn’t until Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a decision, one that rekindles old desires that have always ended in murder. Today, we have more casting news. We have learned exclusively that Quinton Aaron has joined that cast of ‘Rock Paper Dead’ to play the role of an orderly named Joe.

Horrors Await Inside ‘The Barn’

On Halloween 1989, two friends, Sam and Josh are enjoying their last Halloween as high schoolers wit their friends, but the night takes a disturbing turn when on their way to a rock concert, the friends find an abandoned barn and wake the evil inside. It’s up to Sam and Josh to battle the evil and save their friends. Justin M. Seaman both wrote and directed ‘The Barn’, which pays homage to the low-budget horror films of the 1980’s. The cast of ‘The Barn’ includes Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), Mitchell Musolino (The Men Who Built America), Will Stout (Without an Alibi), Lexi Dripps, Nikki Howell and Cortland Woodard. Seaman needs your help to finish ‘The Barn’. He is currently running an Indiegogo campaign to cover the remaining filming costs and they’re offering some very cool perks like signed photos, posters and video games.

An Interview With Writer & Producer Kerry Fleming Of ‘Rock Paper Dead’

Last night I sat down for an interview with Kerry Fleming, the co-writer and co-producer of the horror movie ‘Rock Paper Dead’. Mr. Fleming and I had the best conversation about horror, that I’ve had in a very long time. It was very refreshing to hear him talk about his horror movie and the genre the way he did, with so much enthusiasm and pride. I know that those emotions will be evident in the quality of this movie, which I can’t wait to see. When I first heard about ‘Rock Paper Dead’ I was excited by the actors that had already signed up for roles, a group of true horror legends. ‘Cujo’ actress Dee Wallace, Michael Berryman of ‘The Hills Have Eyes’, and both Kane Hodder and Ari Lehman, who have played Jason in ‘Friday The 13th’, are all the cast list. ‘Rock Paper Dead’ also stars ‘X-Men’ actor Bruce Davison and Mikaela Hoover of the 2014 hit ‘Guardians
