‘Apocalypse Now: Final Cut’ Now Out On Steelbook

Over the past few months, Lionsgate has released a series of fantastic films on Steelbooks, sold exclusively at Best Buy, including 3 From Hell. The latest to be released is the brilliant film Apocalypse Now: Final Cut in 4K Ultra. Directed by legendary Acadamy Award-winning filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, Apocalypse Now features a compelling story, fantastic acting, and an unflinching look at the horrors of the Vietnam war. It stands out as one of the finest films ever made. The film, originally released in 1979, follows a U.S. Army officer serving in Vietnam who is tasked with assassinating a renegade Special Forces Colonel who sees himself as a god. Martin Sheen stars alongside Marlon Brando and Robert Duvall in the film that, unlike many others, in no way glamorizes the war instead it uses its brutality and ugliness to explain how everyday men can turn into monsters. Movie Review: 3 From Hell Steelbook

On September 28, 2021, Lionsgate unleashed 3 From Hell exclusively on Steelbook. Being a fan of the Firefly trilogy and Rob Zombie, I had to get my hands on a copy. Let’s begin with the cover, after all, it is the first thing you see. The plastic outer cover features artwork of Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), Winslow (Richard Brake), and Otis Firefly (Bill Moseley) along with the title, and it’s fantastic! The artwork is brilliantly done. Once the plastic hardcover slides off the steelbook is revealed and has the same artwork except with skeletal faces on the front and three caskets on the back. It screams Rob Zombie! The case has a great metal feel and weight. Inside the case are two discs and a card with the digital copy’s information. The first disc has the classic 3 From Hell art that was released when the movie was first announced. The second disc also has the Firefly family. First came
