And thank you #stephenking for giving us this tale.” “In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers’ Club come face to face with life problems, bullies, and a monster that takes the shape of a clown named Pennywise.” Andy Muschietti (Mama) directed the remake of King’s 1990 miniseries, which stars Javier Botet, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Hamilton, Jaeden Lieberher, Owen Teague, Steven Williams, Sophia Lillis, Megan Charpentier, Wyatt Oleff, and Jeremy Ray Taylor. ‘Hemlock Grove’ actor Bill Skarsgard stars as the frightening entity Pennywise, originally played by Tim Curry. Behold The First Image Of Bill Skarsgard In Full Costume As Pennywise In IT!

Fans were excited to see Bill Skarsgard in full makeup as Pennywise. Now, we have our first look at Skarsgard in full costume as Pennywise, via EW. The new Pennywise is darker, and dirtier, than the character originally played by Tim Curry. Frankly, it’s terrifying. Director Andy Mushetti’s adaption of Stephen King’s ‘IT’, based on the script penned by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer, is said to be headed to a much darker and disturbing place than the 1990 mini series. Producer Dan Lin recently gave Collider a few hints during the TCA Summer Presentation about the film (which you can read all about HERE). He explained several things including the film’s tone and casting Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise. His build is really interesting. He’s really tall and lanky, and feels a little clown like in his movement. When he came in – we had a lot of different actors read, and when he came in he had a different

The 80’s are back in a big way and filmmakers are capitalizing on it. Remakes and reboots of our favorite horror films and series are being announced left and right, including ‘Friday the 13th‘, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street‘. Let’s not forget ‘IT’. The reboot is still shrouded in secrecy, but thanks to one of its producers we now know a little more. Back in June we got our first look at Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in ‘IT’. But fans have been wondering what to expect from the new version. ‘IT’s producer Dan Lin recently gave Collider a few hints during the TCA Summer Presentation. I think a great analogy is actually Stranger Things, and we’re seeing it on Netflix right now,” Lin told Collider. “It’s very much an homage to ’80s movies, whether it’s classic Stephen King or even [Steven] Spielberg. Think about Stand by Me as far as the bonding amongst the kids. But there is a really

The First Image Of Bill Skarsgard As Pennywise Has Surfaced And It’s Pretty Damn Creepy

A few months ago we reported that the IT remake had cast Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, a part originally played by Tim Curry. A few days ago we speculated what the new Pennywise might look like. Well, we don’t have to wonder any longer. The first real image of Bill Skarsgard in the makeup and red nose has arrived, via Entertainment Weekly. And I have to admit, he looks pretty damn creepy. Andy Muschietti (Mama) will be in the director’s chair for the two-part remake of IT, set to arrive in theaters on September 8, 2017. The first film centers on a group of teens, referred to as “The Losers Club”, who go head-to-head with the entity that takes the shape of Pennywise, a demented clown. The second will involve “The Losers Club” who have come back to town as adults and once again must face Pennywise.

Our First Look At Bill Skarsgard As Pennywise In The Upcoming IT Remake

We reported earlier this month that Bill Skarsgard has been cast as Pennywise, originally played by Tim Curry, the terrifying entity that appears as a clown in the remake of the mini series based on Stephen King’s novel IT. Skarsguard, most well known for his role on Eli Roth’s Netflix Original series Hemlock Grove and in The Divergent Series: Allegiant, will be putting on full makeup for the first time. Today, we finally get a look at Skarsgard as Pennywise, the clown that caused many people to develop a fear of all clowns, courtesy of a fan’s artwork. He looks scary in the poster below, but I look forward to seeing an actual photo of Skarsgard as the creepy clown. Andy Muschietti (Mama) will be in the director’s chair for the two-part remake of IT.
