‘Let Us Prey’ Director Is Back With ‘Immaculate’

Irish director Brian O’Malley, behind the gothic horror film, Let Us Prey (pictured above, review), has signed on to direct the upcoming suspense thriller Immaculate, Deadline reports. Written by David R. Flores and J. Hunter Roe, The film centers on a minister who, after a personal tragedy and having his own crisis of faith, is taken captive by a mother who believes her son possesses extraordinary abilities that are rooted in evil. Catapult’s Christopher Watkins and Kevin Goetz are producing this one with Needle Eye’s Charles Stiefel. At its heart, Immaculate is a character piece that slices open the beast that can exist in all of us,” Goetz said. Casting is currently underway with production set to start later this year in Alabama.

Movie Review: The Lodgers is a Must See for Lovers of Gothic Thrillers!

In a small Irish village, orphan twins Rachel (Charlotte Vega) and Edward (Bill Milner) live a reclusive existence within the confines of their decaying mansion (handed down through generations of their family) which no stranger may enter. Also the place is cursed (as all of the previous heir’s parents have drowned together in a lake on the estate’s grounds) and haunted…and the spirits are gettin’ a tad restless… Anyhow, one day Rachel (more adventurous than her sullen sibling who has never left the house since their parents died years previous) strolls to town and meets Sean (Eugene Simon); an outcast soldier just back from World War 1. Rachel gets a case of the horny’s for Sean (seems masturbation and an incestuous relationship with Eddie ain’t cuttin’ the mustard anymore)…which creates an interesting love triangle to say the least. Complicating our protagonists’ lives further; they may have to sell the house as the family’s solicitor, Mr. Bermingham (David Bradley), arrives with

Movie Review: Let Us Prey (2015)

Brian O’Malley makes his full length feature debut with Dark Sky Films’ ‘Let Us Prey’. The script for this supernatural thriller was penned by David Caims. ‘Let Us Prey’ stars ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Liam Cunningham, Pollyanna McIntosh (Woman), Bryan Larkin, Hanna Stanbridge, Douglas Russell, Niall Greig Fulton, Ralph Beswick and Brian Vernel. A small town police station is taken over by a desire for blood and murder when both criminals and officers come under the spell of a mysterious stranger. The officers and criminals reveal their true nature and their horrible crimes, but the man in cell 6 is much more than the wanderer he appears to be. He is there to not only reveal the darkness inside each of them, but also to claim their souls. Will anyone make it out alive? You’ll have to watch ‘Let Us Prey’ to find out. I stumbled across ‘Let Us Prey’ while trying to find something to watch on Netflix, and
