“Lizzie Borden took an axe. And gave her mother 40 whacks. And when the job was nicely done, she gave her father 41.” We’ve all heard that rhyme. The true story of Lizzie Borden is still as popular as ever. In fact, a new (still untitled) biopic is preparing to begin filming next week. Chloë Sevigny (American Horror Story) will star opposite Kristen Stewart (Twilight), and Jay Huguley (The Walking Dead), in the film directed by Craig William Macneill. Macneil will direct from the script penned by Bryce Kass. William Henry Moody, the prosecuting attorney, will be played by Huguley. Stewart will co-star as Bridget Sullivan, the Borden’s live in maid. Naomi Despres and Elizabeth Destro will be producing. The film centers on infamous killer Lizzie Borden (Sevigny), who was first convicted, then acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe in 1892. Photo Credit: appsdirectories.com

Since the sites creation in 2008 many of the tales have taken on a life of their own, such as Slender Man. We reported back November of 2015 that the SyFy channel is bringing some of those stories to life for the new anthology series ‘Channel Zero’, already green lighted for its first two seasons. The first season will be ‘Channel Zero: Candle Cove’. Each season will center around a different story. The first season was inspired by the story of “Candle Cove” by Kris Straub. It follows someone with obsessive recollections of a mysterious children’s television show from the 1980’s – and the show’s suspected role in a series of murders and deadly events from their childhood. Paul Schneider, Fiona Shaw, Shaun Benson, Natalie Brown, Cassandra Consiglio, Luisa D’Oliveria, Keenan Lehmann, Abigail Pniowsky, Luca Villacis,
