Showing Of Suspiria (2018) At CinemaCon Sends Twitter Into A Frenzy

We’ve been waiting for a while to hear more about Oscar-nominated director Luca Guadagnino ‘s new version of Dario Argento’s Suspiria. Yesterday, crowds at CinemaCon finally got a look and it sent people on Twitter into a frenzy. https://twitter.com/AmyKinLA/status/989607055240511488 https://twitter.com/slashfilm/status/989606582840246272 Dakota Johnson stars alongside Chloe Grace-Moretz, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Angela Winkler, Sylvie Testud, Malgosia Bela, Jessica Harper, and Lutz Ebersdorf. Written by David Kajganich, the film that centers on, “A young American Ballet dancer who travels to a prestigious dance academy in Europe, only to discover it is something far more sinister and supernatural. She becomes increasingly terrified after a series of gruesome murders ensue and she slowly unravels the dark history of the academy.” Suspiria was co-financed by Amazon Studios and K Period Media. It features a score composed by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and is set for a Fall release.

Movie Review: The Cat O’ Nine Tails Gives Giallo Fans Something to Purr About!

Blind crossword puzzle author (is that what people who create those things are even called???) Franco (Karl Malden, proving he walked the streets of Rome before those of San Francisco) is taking a stroll one night with his young niece Lori (Cinzia De Carolis) when he overhears a plan to blackmail a scientist who works at a top secret genetic institute…well, not too top secret if they are blabbing about it right out in the damn street and all…oh, and there’s a robbery in there somewhere as well. Anyway Franco eventually teams up with a journalist by the name of Carlo (everyone’s favorite ‘not-quite-Charlton Heston’ James Franciscus) to solve the case, but there ends up being a metric shit-ton of the ol’ murder biz about, so these two dudes are most likely in way over their heads… Admittedly, I’ve never been a fan of the giallo genre; they’ve always played out more like a typical murder mystery with a human

Dario Argento Working On Two New Genre Projects

Master of Horror Dario Argento revealed last month that he had a couple of new projects in the works, both being genre projects. In a recent interview with Du-HD, Argento revealed a few more details about what he is working on. I’m writing a new film, along with an American writer, and should be shot in Canada, although it is not sure yet.” Argento continued. “And, at the same time, I’m also writing a book of black fairy tales for adults.” Argento has a long line of credits to his name, including 1977’s Suspiria, Demons, Phenomena, and Once Upon A Time in the West (1968). We will update you when we know more.

We May Be Getting A Remake Of Demons, With The Original Players

Most of you remember the gory 1985 horror film Demons. The film was a collaboration between the top names in Italian horror, including Dario Argento, who co-wrote and produced along side Lamberto Bava, Demons’ director, with special effects makeup by Sergio Stivaletti. Dread Central is reporting that three genre veterans are interested in teaming up again for a 3D remake of Demons. In an interview with Dark Universe Horror Database Stivaletti revealed the trio’s plans. “We have been speaking about a new Demons movie for a short time now. Dario, Lamberto and myself – maybe a 3D version of demons, a remake that features the old crew.” Stivaletti said. “We all wish Itailian horror could return again, but we know how unlikely that is.” “We go to conventions across the world and people remember our work,” he added. “So there is an audience out there for a new Demons movie – we are all sure of it.” In Demons, a

The New Director Of The Upcoming ‘Suspiria’ Remake Speaks Out

The director of the remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror ‘Suspiria’ has finally been revealed. The news was discovered during an interview between Luca Guadagnino and Empire about his crime drama ‘A Bigger Splash’. Guadagnino is an Italian filmmaker who has found success with several of his films, including ‘I Am Love’ and ‘Here’. “The movie by Dario Argento was maybe a child of it’s own times. It’s very delicate; almost childish,” Guadagnino continued “I have a very strong interest in German literature and film, so I think [my] ‘Suspiria’ will have to focus very strongly on that moment in history, in 1977, when Germany was divided and a new generation was claiming and asking to recognize the debt of guilt that forged the new Germany after the war against the fathers who wanted to deny the responsibility.” ‘Suspiria’ follows a young woman attending an exclusive ballet school.
