Game Review: ‘Fatal Frame: Maiden Of Black Water’

When it comes to horror games one always stood out to me as being truly scary and actually invoked nightmares for me in the past, and that’s Fatal Frame. I was super disappointed that after the game’s third installment that they stopped releasing it in the US, but when I heard about the series fifth installment being re-released for consols I said “You son of a bitch, I’m in!”. Let’s see if the series is still had its scares or if it’s lost it, lets check out Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. First a big thank you to Koei Tecmo for the reviewing opportunity! Director Christopher Gans Reveals A New ‘Silent Hill’ Movie Is Coming

Nearly ten years have passed since we got a new installment of the Silent Hill franchise. Now, out of nowhere the original director, Christopher Gans has revealed that a new Silent Hill movie is in the works. While speaking with the website Allocine, Gans teased not only a new Silent Hill but a Project Zero (known as Fatal Frame in the United States) adaptation as well. I especially don’t want to uproot the game from its Japanese haunted house steeting. And we’re also working on a new Silent Hill. Silent Hill, and adaptation of the video game of the same name, made its debut back in 2006 and starred Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, and Laurie Holden. When her adoptive father disappears, Sharon Da Silva (Jodelle Ferland)

A Picture Tells A Story: Review of ‘Fatal Frame’ (‘Gekijōban Zero’)

Any gamer worth their callused thumbs and carpel tunnel will tell you one of the best horror video games ever made would be the Fatal Frame series. Fatal Frame otherwise known as Zero in Japan and Project Zero in Europe is a horror video game series that’s deeply rooted in Japanese culture and folklore putting players against violent ghosts and the only weapon you have is an old camera with magical powers. Sounds silly, but the games are anything but, I’ve played many horror video games over the years and watched many horror movies as well but none of them have literally haunted my dreams like Fatal Frame. Needless to say, when I heard they were making a movie based off the first game I squeed how no man should but alas, the film was canceled which was possibly a good thing since it may have been whitewashed beyond recognition. I found out sometime later that eventually there was a
