Of course, fans were left wanting more. Speaking with Deadline, Peele stated that he is open to a sequel. I haven’t decided anything yet and I am allowing the creative part to bubble up, and not force it,” Peele told the site. “I know if a follow-up is meant to happen, it will. I’m open to figuring out what it is. But I also don’t want to let down the original and its fans. I simply would not do something like that for the cash.” Peele has already signed a multi-picture deal with Universal to continue his series of social thrillers with the next film arriving in 2019. ‘Annabelle: Creation’ Overtakes ‘Get Out’ As Most Profitable Horror Film Of The Year

With a world wide gross of 253 million dollars, Annabelle: Creation is now the most profitable horror film of the year, beating Get Out’s 252 million. Neither is a shabby haul, with both films far exceeding expectations. However Get Out being both an original I.P. and critically adored had many rooting for it to succeed over Annabelle: Creation, the fourth film in The Conjuring Universe and a prequel to the not very well liked at all Annabelle, released back in 2014. Overall it’s been an underwhelming year not just for horror, but movies in general, with several of the lowest box office weekends in recent history, and a steady stream of high profile flops. For every Get Out there seemed to be at least two releases like A Cure For Wellness. With It released this weekend and on track to pull in more than a few pennies , there’s still plenty of time for the year to turn things around.

GET OUT’s Alternate Ending Featured On The Blu-ray And DVD – Now In Stores

Jordan Peele’s genre debut, Get Out, was not only a success, it is already being hailed as this year’s top horror film, and it’s only May (spoiler free review). Today, Get Out landed online and on the shelves. As fans who missed it in theaters or who simply want to watch it again (and again) rush to get their copy, there is a special feature that is worth seeing. There is an alternative ending that is far different from the one seen in theaters. During an interview on Talking With Chris Hardwick, Peele confessed that he wrote multiple endings for the hit film. I don’t want to spoil it for those of you who haven’t seen the film yet. Let’s just say the alternate ending does not go well for Chris (Daniel Kaluuya). For those of you who are not familiar with Get Out, the story centers around Chris, a young African American man, and his white girlfriend Rose (Allison

Peele brought the book to Green’s attention. “When I first read Lovecraft Country, I knew it had the potential to be unlike anything else on television.” Green said.
