A First Look At ‘Incident In A Ghost Land’ From The Director Of ‘Martyrs’

From the director of Martyrs, Pascal Laugier, comes the home invasion thriller Incident In A Ghost Land. Starring French singer Mylène Farmer, Taylor Hickson, Emilia Jones, Crystal Reed, and Anastasia Phillipps, the film is said to have a heavy Stephen King feel. The film centers on Colleen (Farmer) and her two daughters – the eldest, Beth (Reed), totally locked-in and shy, finds comfort in the stories she invents in the books she writes, and Vera (Philipps), way more open and self-confident, inherit her house. However, during their first night in this new home, murderers break-in, pushing Colleen to fight to save her daughters’ lives. During this highly traumatic night, the girls’ disparate personalities diverge even further. “Sixteen years later, Beth becomes a famous horror author with a perfect family and life in Chicago, while Vera can’t cope, and loses her mind faced to an unshakable sense of paranoia. Daughters and mother finally reunite at the house where Colleen and Vera

Alan Fine’s Paranormal Film ‘The Catalyst’

A few days ago I stumbled across a tweet from the account for a movie ‘The Catalyst’. I was curious, and upon further investigation, I found a website address. On the website, which is still under construction, I found a place where people can submit their true ghost stories by a post or video. I couldn’t resist, I submitted my tale (yes I believe in ghosts), then I continued on, to the part of the site dedicated to the movies, Alan Fine intends to make into a franchise. The movie has an interesting plot. In ‘The Catalyst’ a couple, challenged with fertility problems, finally have the daughter they longed for, but as a child the daughter is killed in a freak accident. After several years the couple is blessed with another daughter. When the girl turns the same age at which they lost the first daughter, strange paranormal activity begins to plague the family. The smallest accident, the drop of

Jordan McCloskey Talks With Me About His Film ‘Ghostpuncher’

For those of you who haven’t heard about the horror-comedy ‘Ghostpuncher’, let me fill you in. ‘Ghostpuncher’ is the brain-child of Gemini award winning actor/writer Jordan McCloskey . Jordan starred on the TV series ‘The Wilkinsons’ and the series ‘Three Chords From the Truth’. Now Jordan has set out to make an unforgettable and completely original movie with blood, gore, creepy ghosts and a few laughs. I sat down today to talk with Jordan about his project. The man on the other end of the phone was over flowing with excitement about ‘Ghostpuncher’ and I can’t blame him, by the time I hung up the phone I was psyched about this indie film too. ‘Ghostpuncher’ tells the story of a single father and his son, who have moved into a new house, unaware of the fact that the home is haunted by three spirits. The home now stands on the foundation of where a nineteenth century poor-house once stood. The
