First ‘Doom: Annihilation’ Trailer Takes You On A Trip To Hell

A new Doom film adaptation is gearing up to pay homage to the gaming classic. We’ve got the first trailer for Doom: Annihilation trailer (via Bloody-Disgusting), teasing an action-packed straight-to-video movie. Written and directed by Tony Giglio (S.W.A.T.: Under Siege), Doom: Annihilation centers on a group of marines as they respond to a distress call from a base on a Martian moon, only to discover it’s been overrun by demonic creatures who threaten to create Hell on Earth. Amy Manson (”Atlantis”), Luke Allen-Gale (“Dominion”), Dominic Mafham (Ophelia), and Nina Bergman (The Car: Road to Revenge) star in the movie executive produced by Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Bumblebee), and John Wells (“Animal Kingdom”). Jeffery Beach (Jarhead 3: The Siege), Phillip Roth (Death Race: 4 Beyond Anarchy) and Ogden Gavanski (Cult of Chucky) are producing. Doom: Annihilation will land on home video this Fall, from Universal 1440 Entertainment.

An Imaginary Friend Stalks The ‘Z’ Poster

Writer-director Bradon Christensen has teamed up once again with writer-producer Colin Minihan (Grave Encounters, Still/Born) for their new film Z which features a family who finds themselves terrorized by their eight-year-old son’s imaginary friend. We’ve got the first poster along with the first image for Z that stars Keegan Connor Tracy (Bates Motel), Sean Rogerson (Grave Encounters), and Jett Klyne (Sky Scraper). Z wrapped principal photography last year, so we should see a trailer soon.

This April Discover ‘The Hole In The Ground’ On DVD

Poster Premieres For Robert Rodriguez’s $7,000 Film ‘Red 11’

Robert Rodriguez has come along from his indie start with his most recent film Alita: Battle Angel having a budget close to $200 million, but Rodriguez is returning to his indie roots with the horror film Red 11, set to premiere at SXSW. With a budget of just $7,000 (the same as his debut feature El Mariachi), the film was written by Rodriguez and his son Racer. Adapted from a script written 25 years ago that was based on Rodriguez’s real-life experiences in a Medical Research Facility, Red 11 is set in a dark, warped version of the world of the legal drug research. “At these Facilities, young guys become Lab Rats to make quick money, but our hero RED 11 is here to buy his way out of a huge debt to the tune of $7,000. ‘Justice League’ Director Is Back With New Movie ‘Army Of The Dead’

Zack Snyder has delivered a lot of epic films such as Watchmen, Justice League, and Dawn of the Dead. Now, he is gearing up to begin filming his new zombie film Army of the Dead this June with a $90 million dollar budget. As for the cast? Dario Argento Has Been Quietly Working On A New Horror Film

For the past two years, Master of Horror Dario Argento (Suspiria) has been quietly working on a new horror movie that will be released in eight episodes and today, we have a few details. As a guest on Radio Rai 1’s Un Giorno da Pecora, Argento revealed a few details. Alexandre Aja’s Creature Feature ‘Crawl’ Getting An Early Release

Director Alexandre Aja, who was also behind The Hills Have Eyes and High Tension, has announced that his creature feature Crawl has a new release date. Produced by Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Spider-Man) and co-written by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen, Crawl stars Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) as a young woman trapped in a house during a Catagory 5 hurricane. If that wasn’t bad enough, she must face Florida’s most savage predators, alligators. Originally set to open in theaters this August, Crawl is coming early, on July 12, 2019.

‘Zoombies 2’ Coming Later This Month

2016’s fun zombie flick Zoombies turned a safari park into zoo filled with critters infected by the zombie virus. Now, the sequel, Zoombies 2, is headed our way. The Asylum made the announcement last on Twitter. They also shared the movie’s poster. A while we don’t know the plot, we assume it has something to do with infected people and animals. Watch The SXSW Teaser Trailer For ‘The Woman’ Sequel ‘Darlin”

“The Walking Dead’s” Pollyanna McIntosh, makes her directorial debut with Darlin’ whose SXSW teaser trailer has been unveiled on a fitting day, International Women’s Day. Lauryn Canny stars in the film that continues the twisted, vicious adventure of Lucky McKee’s 2011 cult hit The Woman, which he novelized with famed horror writer Jack Ketchum and which starred McIntosh in the title role.
