Kevin Smith Shares The Bloody Trailer For Anthology “Killroy Was Here”

Red State and Tusk director Kevin Smith is making his return to horror with the new anthology film Killroy Was Here. Killroy Was Here began as a Krampus movie but was re-written and morphed into a horror-comedy anthology inspired by the “Killroy Was Here” graffiti that popped up during World War II. During the ComicCon @ Home panel, Smith shared the first trailer (below) and compared the film to Creepshow and V/H/S. Smith also stated, “It’s got a theme that runs through it, and all these little stories that happen around [Killroy]. He’s kinda like a kid Avenger. If you fuck with kids, Killroy will show up. And he looks wonderfully goofy. Baldhead and a nose that hangs over the fence. [Robert Kurtzman] designed something that’s kinda horrifying but it’s also goofy at the same time.” Smith’s fellow Jay and Silent Bob star and long time friend Jason Mewes stars alongside Chris Jericho. Let’s face it, Disney villains can be terrifying! Disney Chills is a collection of books where the scariest Disney villains enter the real-world lives of contemporary kids. Disney Chills: Part of Your Nightmare will kick the whole thing off with Ursula from “The Little Mermaid”: “Eleven-year-old Shelly Anderson just wants to be popular. Visual Artist Ama Lea Plans on Raising Some Hell with The Invocation of Lilith!

L.A. based visual artist Ama Lea is preparing to shoot an experimental short film that is right up my (and most likely your) arcane alley titled The Invocation of Lilith! Here’s the lowdown on the project straight from the sinister source: The Invocation of Lilith is a psychedelic experimental short film inspired by Andy Warhol, Kenneth Anger, and Alejandro Jodorowsky. It is about transcendence, summoning and claiming of feminine power and exploring themes of occultism, lunar magik, sisterhood, and equality. It is about the reclaiming of Lilith, who is often portrayed as a demon for simply wanting equality. She will be our heroine and savior guiding the hand of our female cast in finding and owning their power and letting go of the pain and resentments of patriarchal restraint to find love and light and forgiveness within the universe. Though I am inspired by these filmmakers above, this will be something that is entirely my own and my own vision.

The ‘Tales From The Crypt’ Game That Was Never Released

So apparently, according to YouTube channel CryptTube, back in the ‘90s there was a good amount of work done on a ‘Tales From The Crypt’ video Game. Artist Mike Vosburg claims to have done quite a bit of work on the now defunct project. The art concepts show that the game would have focused on classic tales from both the show and the comic as well as original stories. John Kassir himself even confirmed (in typical Crypt Keeper way) that he had done voice work for the game. When asked if her remebered working on the game, he replied: “Sure Do…..was a HEAD of it’s Slime! Sad it never saw the light of SLAY!” Even Mr. Kassir is unsure of why the game was never released, but one day the people in charge will hopefully recognize that people want more ‘Tale From The Crypt’ in any media possible!

Jordan Peele Says We May Get A Sequel To ‘Get Out’

Jordan Peele’s debut horror film Get Out is considered by many (including us) to be the best film of the year, in fact, it’s been nominated for an Acadamy Award. Following its success. Of course, fans were left wanting more. Speaking with Deadline, Peele stated that he is open to a sequel. I haven’t decided anything yet and I am allowing the creative part to bubble up, and not force it,” Peele told the site. “I know if a follow-up is meant to happen, it will. I’m open to figuring out what it is. But I also don’t want to let down the original and its fans. I simply would not do something like that for the cash.” Peele has already signed a multi-picture deal with Universal to continue his series of social thrillers with the next film arriving in 2019. ‘Evil Dead 2: The Book Of The Thread’ Launches On Kickstarter

Source Point Press is launched a 30-day Kickstarter campaign on June 12th for an officially licensed cross-stitch craft book titled ‘Evil Dead 2: The Book of the Thread’. Millie Bobby Brown Auditioned For ‘Logan’ Before Landing ‘Stranger Things’ Role

Millie Bobby Brown, aka Eleven from Stranger Things and the kid who rapped “Monster” on Jimmy Fallon, had a huge year in 2016, landing worldwide fame and a starring role in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters. But before she played a little girl with strange powers on Stranger Things, Brown auditioned for a different little girl with strange powers on Logan. X-23, who was eventually played to great effect by Daphne Keen, is a little badass with all the powers of Wolverine; healing factor, unbreakable bones, and of course most famously some vicious claws. While Brown kills a good handful of soldiers on Stranger Things, Eleven never shows half the viciousness of the throat slicing, eyeball gouging X-23. Keen was great in the role, but I can’t be alone and wondering what Brown would have brought to the role. Logan/Stranger Things cross over anyone? Probably not, but a man can dream.

First Look at The Predator Set

News keeps pouring in about the upcoming Predator film. Finally, a picture from the set has surfaced. I am positive there will be many more, but this first one is extremely exciting. Not only does it show Thomas Jane chilling on a tank, but it shows TWO Predators. This film is not a reboot. It takes place after the events of the first film, but will be focused in a suburban area rather than a remote jungle. We are told that the government is aware of the aliens and it appears as though a military task force is being sent to kill the predator. The cast for this R-Rated, promised-to-be-bloody movie looks amazing and now the prospect of a second predator. Keep posted here for more news. The Predator is scheduled for release on August 3rd, 2018
