We’ve got a treat for our true crime fans. Netflix has just unleashed the new trailer for the limited serial killer docuseries “Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer” that delves into the murders committed by Richard Ramirez. The series tells the spellbinding true story of how one of the most notorious serial killers in American history was hunted down and brought to justice. The victims were men, women, and children ranging in ages from six to 82, no one was safe. They came from different neighborhoods, racial backgrounds, and socioeconomic levels. Never before in criminal history had a single killer been responsible for such a grisly array of crimes. First Look: Nicolas Cage Stars In His Wildest Role Yet In ‘Prisoners Of The Ghostland’

The first batch of images is here from Sion Sono‘s action-horror movie Prisoners of the Ghostland which Nicolas Cage describes as the wildest film he’s ever starred in. In the film, “When a notorious criminal, Hero (Cage) is sent to rescue an abducted girl who has disappeared into a dark supernatural universe, they must break the evil curse that binds them and escape the mysterious revenants that rule Ghostland.” It’s out there. I wear a skintight black leather jumpsuit with grenades attached to different body parts, and if I don’t rescue the governor’s daughter from this state line where they’re all ghosts and bring her back they’re gonna blow me up.” Cage says. The film is the English language feature debut for Suicide Club‘s Sono. Written by Aaron Hendry and Reza Sixo Safai, the film also stars Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), Ed Skrein (Deadpool), Bill Moseley (3 from Hell), Young Dais (The Outsider), and Tak Sakaguchi (Re: Born). Isabelle Fuhrman Gets Bloody In The First Images From ‘Orphan: First Kill’

Back in November, we reported that Isabelle Fuhrman is returning for the prequel to 2009’s Orphan as Esther. Today, we’ve got the first behind the scenes look at Orphan: First Kill via Fuhrman’s social media. Filming will soon wrap on Orphan: First Kill and according to reports, 23-year-old Fuhrman looks as if she hasn’t aged a day since Jaume Collet-Serra’s hit film debuted thanks to clever angles, world-class makeup, and effects. In 2009 Fuhrman brought to life the twisted and terrifying Esther to life. The character was actually a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer, posing as a child up for adoption. Once adopted by a young couple with two children, Esther manipulates everyone around her while attempting to seduce her new father and killing anyone who gets in her way. In First Kill, “Leena orchestrates a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travels back to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But Leena’s new

Witness The Bone-Chilling Trailer For ‘Sator,’ Inspired By True Events

Witness the bone-chilling trailer for director Jordan Graham’s supernatural horror Sator, inspired by his own life experiences. “Secluded home in desolate forest home to little more than the decaying remnants of the past, a broken family is further torn apart by a mysterious death. Adam, guided by a pervasive sense of dread, hunts for answers only to learn that they are not alone; an insidious presence by the name of Sator has been observing his family, subtly influencing all of them for years in an attempt to claim them.” The uniquely spectral horror-thriller blurs the line between fact and fiction as it’s core story, of a demon making contact with an intimate family, is inspired by director Jordan Graham’s own life. Sator is quite personal to me,” says Graham. “It delves into my family’s dark history with mental illness surrounding a supernatural entity, and uses home video footage to create an interwoven piece between documentary and fiction.” For years generations

Movie Review: Archenemy

Writer-director Adam Egypt Mortimer (Daniel Isn’t Real, Some Kind of Hate) has now unleashed his superhero film Archenemy starring Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike franchise, “True Blood”) as Max Fist, an alcoholic homeless man who claims to be a superhero from another dimension, who has none of his powers on earth. Max meets a young man named Hamster who may be the only person on earth who believes his story. When Hamster (Skylan Brooks, The Darkest Minds, Southpaw) is in trouble Max puts his life on the line to protect the kid. Max’s story plays out in a combination of the gritty real world and in gorgeous animated flashbacks filled with psychedelic pinks and blues. The styles are a nice combination that reveals his superhero past in such a way that you don’t know if it is real or simply a delusion in Max’s mind. The casting was a great choice. Manganiello and Brooks are perfect for their roles. You can

Movie Review: Grizzly II: Revenge

After 37 years in the making Grizzly II: Revenge is finally about to be released on January 8, 2021. Grizzly II, directed by André Szöts, is the sequel to William Girdler‘s 1976 movie Grizzly. The movie follows a bear out for revenge after a hunter kills its cub. During its rampage a huge concert is taking place, I’m sure you know the rest. George Clooney, Laura Dern, Charlie Sheen are featured in the original footage with Louise Fletcher, John Rhys-Davies, and Steve Inwood also starring, but the three main stars advertised are only in the film for around five minutes. I am trying to put this politely, but this movie is a mess. The scenes a patched together in what may very well be the roughest and sloppiest way I’ve ever seen. It’s a perfect example of what happens when editing goes wrong. It looks like it was just thrown together. There’s no transition from scene to scene, the music

Movie Review: Hunter Hunter Is A Dark Horror Thriller Done Right

When I sat down and hit the play button to watch writer-director Shawn Linden’s Hunter Hunter I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was a great, truly dark film about family and desperation. The film centers on a couple, Joseph (Devon Sawa) and Anne (Camille Sullivan), and their daughter Reneè (Summer H. Howell) living off the grid in the remote wilderness. They make their money by trapping so when a wolf begins to steal the animals in their traps they set out to hunt it down. When they stumble across the wolf eating an arm they realize there is another killer (Nick Stahl) lurking in their own backyard. First off, let me give a warning to animal lovers, Hunter Hunter is going to be a bit hard for you to watch. Just cover your eyes when you have to though because the movie is worth it. Hunter Hunter is a dark, tension-filled, gripping tale and at some points
