Blu-ray Review: The Vault (2017)

Leah (Francesca Eastwood), her sister Vee (Taryn Manning), their brother Michael (Scott Haze…who we interviewed right here), and a small crew decide to rob a bank to acquire half a mil to help Michael out with some vague bullshit in his life (something about owing the wrong people money). Being a bunch of disorganized, in-fighting, bad luck cases, they only find 70 large in the vault…but the bank’s assistant manager Ed (James Franco) assures them their is an older vault hidden beneath the bank that contains a small fortune. Once down there, things take a decidedly supernatural turn as our anti-heroes are menaced by a preternatural figure that is out for revenge for a robbery that was botched decades earlier! Ever since Rodriguez and Tarantino worked their magic back in ’96 with From Dusk Till Dawn, folks have been trying to mix and match their crime pictures with the horror biz to varying degrees of success. So how does The

Scott Haze Talks About His Role In ‘The Vault’ And More In An Interview

A couple of weeks ago I saw a movie titled The Vault (review). I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a film that claimed to be half horror and half heist film. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the story interesting and fresh, it has a fantastic cast that includes Scott Haze, James Franco, Francesca Eastwood, Taryn Manning, Q’orianka Kilcher, Clifton Collins Jr. and many other talented actors. In the film, in order to save their brother Michael’s life, the Dillon sisters, Leah (Francesca Eastwood) and Vee (Taryn Manning) have organized a bank robbery, but when the upstairs vault doesn’t have enough money to cover Michael’s debt, on the advice of Assistant Bank Manager Ed Maas (Franco), they drill into the downstairs vault. But the bank’s basement hides a terrible secret and before long, the Dillons have to choose whether to face the police outside or the terrible supernatural forces from the vault below.” I had the

Review: ‘The Vault’ Is A Must See, Intense, Supernatural Tale Of Desperation

How far would you go to save the life of your brother or sister? If they were in trouble and owed some dangerous people a lot of money would you be willing to rob a bank to help them out? In Dan Bush’s The Vault, the Dillons, a group of siblings, team up to rob a bank, but that’s not as easy as it sounds. Played by Scott Haze (Midnight Special, interview), Taryn Manning (Orange is the New Black), Francesca Eastwood (Final Girl), the Dillons and two associates, Keith Loneker (Outlaws and Angels) and Michael Milford (Deserted), are on a mission to steal enough cash to cover Michael’s (Haze) debts. Little do they know there is something inside the bank that is much more dangerous than the cops waiting outside. Once the Dillons have taken hostages and checked the cash drawers they learn that they are still short of their goal. That’s when one of the hostages (James Franco) tell

Movie Review – ALIEN: COVENANT Isn’t ALIEN Yet, But It Doesn’t Have To Be

It’s been ten years since Peter Weyland financed the ill fated Prometheus expedition, intent on finding and meeting the supposed creators of the human race or “engineers”. Now Weyland Corp. has become Weyland Yutani, and their focus is now that of “building better worlds”. To that end the company has sought out other habitable distant planets for the purpose of colonization. The crew of a Colony Ship named Covenant are charged with transporting over 2,000 cryo-slumbering colonists and over 1,000 frozen embryos to their destination on the planet Origae-6. During the voyage, an energy flare from an exploding star causes damage to the ship, causes the death of a few colonists and the ship’s captain, who becomes trapped in his cryo-stasis pod as it encounters a catastrophic malfunction. The rest of the crew having been awakened by the mission’s synthetic crew member, Walter, assess the damage and begin repairs. As they complete the necessary repairs to Covenant, they receive transmission
