The Crow Reboot Takes Flight Again

After two years of silence, it appears that The Crow reboot has once again entered active development according to Bloody Disgusting. Last time around Sony Pictures had announced the release date for their reboot of the 1994 classic with Corin Hardy directing and Jason Momoa starring as the iconic character Eric Draven. Just as the movie entered pre-production it was revealed that both Hardy and Momoa had exited the project and Sony removed it from the calendar. This time no director or stars have been revealed. According to the site Samuel Hadida’s Davis Films, Highland Film Group, and Electric Shadow are still involved. Several people have attempted to reboot/remake The Crow in the past but the films never seem to get off the ground. Some fans think it’s is cursed. Maybe it is. Actor Brandon Lee who originally starred as Eric Draven was tragically killed on set in a freak accident with a prop gun during the filming of a

Bree Klauser Talks About The Amazing World Of Apple TVs “See” And More

November 8th we will be introduced to a new amazing series, “See” set in a dystopian future where the human race has lost the sense of sight and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt and to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins are born with sight. Don’t get me started on the amazing cast that includes Jason Momoa and Alfie Woodard, as well as Bree Klauser who I had the pleasure of talking with about the series, her role, and more. Klauser plays the role of Matal, a member of Momoa’s tribe and an integral member of his council. Besides being a talented actress, Klauser has overcome her lack of sight to follow her dreams of being an actress, which impresses the hell out of me. Her determination to represent her community in the best possible way is is beyond honorable. Horror Fuel: “The trailer for Apple TV’s “See” is

‘The Crow’ Reboot Is Dead (Again)

After the long-gestating reboot of The Crow sat in limbo for years watching directors and stars come and come and go Sony finally gave the movie an October 2019 release date with Corin Hardy directing and Aquaman actor Jason Momoa set to star. Today news has come via Deadline that The Crow won’t be arriving as planned. In fact, both Hardy and Momoa have now walked away from the movie. Deadline is reporting that both “formally withdrew from the film this morning.” The site also says that “Sony is close to exiting as the film’s worldwide distributor.” I’m told this has to do with creative and financial differences with Samuel Hadida, whose Davis Films holds the underlying rights and who was financing the film. Production was gearing up to start within the next five weeks in Budapest, and the picture was in full pre-production with Hardy presiding.” Deadline also stated. Momoa made a statement via Instagram about stepping away from

After many false starts, the reboot of The Crow might actually be moving forward. After being abandoned several months ago by Relativity Media, Sony has now stepped in. James O’Barr, the creator of the comic that the 1994 film was inspired by, was recently asked about the status of the new version in an interview with ScreenGeek. He revealed not only that the film’s title is The Crow Reborn but that it is gearing up to start filming in 2018. He also stated that he is he is very involved in the creative process this time around. As of right now, it’s slated to start pre-production in February with a very talented British director named Corin Hardy. Suki Waterhouse Gets Mutilated In The New Clip From ‘The Bad Batch’

You have to give a hand to writer-director Ana Lily Amirpour, the new clip from The Bad Batch is intense and brutal, featuring Suki Waterhouse bound, drugged and mutilated. Set in a world filled with violence, cannibals, cults, bad guys, and thieves, The Bad Batch gives off a serious Mad Max meets The Hills Have Eyes feel, and we like it. The film, a dystopian love story, has some serious star power including names like Jason Momoa, Keanu Reeves, Jim Carey, Diego Luna, Giovanni Ribisi, and Waterhouse. In The Bad Batch, “Arlen (Waterhouse) is unceremoniously dumped in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilized society. While trying to orient her unforgiving environment, she is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she’ll have to fight her way through her new reality. As Arlen adjusts to life in “the bad batch”, she discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on whom you’re standing next to.” The Bad
