Anthony De La Torre, who played the role of young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, stars as Johnny. Byron Brown II, Aprilann, and Michael DeLorenzo co-star. When I asked Lamberson to describe the film this is what he had to say: Johnny Gruesome is the story of a murdered high school student, sort of a heavy metal rebel.
