Sylvester Stallone Gets Protective In New Image From ‘Samaritan’

If I have said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, 2018’s Overlord was freaking fantastic, so needless to say I have high expectations for director Julius Avery‘s new dark superhero movie Samaritan starring action hero and general badass Sylversten Stallone (Rocky, Rambo). In the movie, based on an original idea, a young boy learns that a superhero who was thought to have gone missing after an epic battle twenty years ago may in fact still be around. Today we’ve got a new image (via Total Films) of Stallone’s title character protecting Javon Walton’s character while in a traffic tunnel. Pilou Asbæk, Martin Starr, Moises Aries, and Dascha Polanco co-star. This is a big event movie – we see our heroes kicking ass,” Avery recently told Total Film. “We’re going to see Sly do things he hasn’t done in a long time, and in a really inventive way. He’s 73 years old! I’m amazed by how much he actually

Movie Review: ‘You Should Have Left’

Out of all the movies I’ve been excited about, You Should Have Left has been at the top of the list. Now that I’ve seen it I would like to share my thoughts with you. Kevin Bacon stars as Theo whose dark past haunts him, as does his nightmares. Filled with anger and jealousy, he tries to find some peace in the home he and his wife have rented for a getaway, but his life begins to unravel and something begins to manipulate his reality. As always, Bacon is fantastic. While he’s known for his roles in films like Tremors, he’s so great in serious roles and has a way of really making you feel what his character is experiencing. He reunited with director David Koepp for the film, who he worked with on the brilliant 1999 horror Stir of Echoes. They two are a great combo. Amanda Seyfried plays the role of Susanna, Theo’s much younger, beautiful, actress wife

Graphic Novel Adaptation Of Stephen King & Owen King’s ‘Sleeping Beauties’ Debuts This June

Stephen King and Owen King‘s bestselling 2017 novel Sleeping Beauties is being adapted into a new 10-part graphic novel by Rio Youers (The Forgotten Girl) and Alison Sampson (Winnebago Graveyard). In the thrilling story, “a strange sleeping sickness, known as Aurora, has fallen over the world, and strangest of all, it only affects women. In the small town of Dooling, a mysterious woman has walked out of the woods; she calls herself Eve and leaves a trail of carnage behind her. More mysterious: she’s the only woman not falling asleep.” The graphic novel’s art is incredible, truly frame-worthy. I really hope that at some point the covers are released as a series of posters. I’ve seen several of the covers, take my word for it, they’re gorgeous. If the rest of the series is anything like the first well written and illustrated book, we’re in for something special. But when the name King is involved you already know it’s going
