The Holidays Turn Deadly With ‘The Elf’

This November, grab a cup of hot cocoa, slip into your onesie, and grab a copy of the latest holiday horror movie, The Elf, a frightening tale of an ancient elf doll that reeks havoc on a family’s Christmas season. In the film, written and directed by Justin Price, “Nick is haunted by night terrors stemming from a tragic murder he saw when he was young. After inheriting an old toy shop, he discovers a cursed elf doll sealed inside an ancient chest with a naughty list of his family’s names written on it. He soon discovers that the elf was an evil conduit meant to unleash a supernatural killing spree during the Christmas Holidays by whoever set it free.” Natassia Halabi, Les Best, and Joseph Daniel Ellis co-star in this bloody gift from Uncork’d Entertainment that arrives on VOD on November 7 and on DVD on December 12, 2017.

An ancient spirit comes home this October with the supernatural film The 13th Friday. And we have a brand new exclusive clip to share with you. In the film we witness a female refugee who discovers an ancient demonic device that opens the gateway to another realm, she unleashes a dark entity that poses as her daughter. After many failed attempts to have the church explain the creation of her worst nightmares, she learns that the house is cursed by an enraged spirit that died on Friday the 13th. And now a group of thrill-seeking friends unknowingly unleash its wrath and damn their souls. Lisa May, Khu, Melissa L. Vega, and Victoria Valdez star in The 13th Friday, written and directed by Justin Price (Alien: Reign of Man, Dark Moon Rising). Extraterrestrials Invade VOD In ‘Alien: Reign Of Man’

Though not the xenomorphs created by legendary artist H.R. Giger and made famous by director Ridley Scott, Uncork’d Entertainment’s Alien: Reign of Man will bring us face-to-face with a new breed of hostile space-creeps. Alien: Reign of Man spins the tale of some sort of team working to activate some sort of machine to save Earth, while stranded on some planet, battling the titular aliens. From what I’ve seen in the trailer, the film appears to be an indie mockbuster somewhere in between Alien: Covenant and Interstellar. Directed by Justin Price (Dark Moon Rising), and starring Deanna Grace Congo, Torrei Hart, Khu, and Cameron White, the low-budget sci-fi horror comes to VOD August 1, with a DVD release slated for November 14, 2017. Though I’ve yet to see the film, I’m highly skeptical of its quality. Judge for yourself by watching the official trailer of Alien: Reign of Man below.
