Kevin Smith began his “True North Trilogy” with his disturbing 2014 film Tusk , where a man is transformed into a Walrus after answering an ad in hopes of interviewing its author. Now, the second film, Yoga Hosers, is set to premiere at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival, which runs from January 21st to the 31st. The theatrical release has not been announced. Yoga Hosers is a spin-off from Tusk. The film focuses on the two young female clerks in the gas station scene of Tusk, Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie (Lily-Rose Melody Depp and Harley Quinn Smith). The two young women are besties from Winnipeg who love yoga and live on their smart phones. But when the sophomores are invited to a senior party, the Colleens uncover an ancient evil buried beneath their Canadian convenience store. Kevin Smith To Direct Segment In ‘Holidays’ Horror Anthology

There has been a lot of buzz lately about writer/director Kevin Smith and his upcoming film projects ‘Yoga Hosers’, ‘Moose Jaws’ and ‘Clerks III’. I have now learned that Smith has yet another project underway. This time Smith is also directing a segment for the new holiday horror film titled ‘Holidays’. The film puts a twisted spin on all of our favorite holidays, like Christmas, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Smith’s segment, titled ‘Camhain’, will focus on Halloween. ‘Camhain’ is a twist on Samhain. Smith explains “It’s about CamGirls working on Halloween night.” Smith’s long time partner-in-crime, Jason Mewes, will star in the segment along side Harley Morenstein. Smith stated that “Harley plays a douchey, villainous CamGirl pimp with a sad shirt.” Smith and Mewes ‘Holidays’ will also have sections directed by several, very talented directors such as Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold). Nick McCarthy (The Pact), Matt Johnson (The Dirties), Sarah Smith (The Midnight Swim), Adam

Jay and Silent Bob May Appear in Smith’s ‘Moose Jaws’

Over the weekend Kevin Smith, who is currently working on the script for the third movie of his “True North Trilogy”, posted an interesting statement on his FaceBook page. “I’m working on the Moose Jaws script now and just had an idea that’d make something fun and stupid even more so for me,” Smith continued “So the question on the floor is this: Should I mashup my movie-universes by bringin Jay and Silent Bob into Moose Jaws? Thanks” Of course the fans of Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith) quickly chimed in, to be exact, over 3,000 fans responded in twenty-four hours. The majority of the fans gave an overwhelming yes. We reported last week that the script for ‘Moose Jaws’was being written, but many details about the movie still have not been announced. We have heard that in one scene the massive moose eats a small child. Either way ‘Moose Jaws’ is bound to be great,

Kevin Smith Pays Homage To ‘Jaws’ In His New Horror Movie ‘Moose Jaws’

Kevin Smith, known for his films such as ‘Mallrats’ and ‘Clerks’and of course for his role as “Silent Bob”, one half of the awesome duo of “Jay and Silent Bob”, set out a few years ago to make “True North Trilogy”, which included ‘Tusk’ (2014) and ‘Yoga Hosers’ (2015). Smith has now announced his plan for the final film in the series, titled ‘Moose Jaws’. Smith made the announcement on the 40th anniversary of ‘Jaws’ by posting a picture of himself standing next the mechanical shark (nicknamed “Bruce”) used in ‘Jaws’. “Jaws, the movie that made me fall in love with movies, turns 40 today,” He continued “Next year, I make my homage entitled #MooseJaws. It’s Jaws, but with a moose.” Very little is known about ‘Moose Jaws’ at this point, except that it is said that in one scene, the Moose eats a child. We can expect ‘Moose Jaws’ some time next year.
