Get ready to howl at the moon with a real party animal, ‘Bubba the Redneck Werewolf‘ is coming to DVD. Mitch Hyman announced last night via Facebook that his horror-comedy is getting its DVD release this October. It is a perfect time for Bubba to come to DVD, this year marks the 20th Anniversary of Hyman’s comic, considered a cult classic among collectors, that the film is based on. It’s a great comic by the way. Director Brendan Jackson Rogers delivers this indie film starring Malone Thomas, Mitch Hyman, Gary Norris, Sara Humbert, Chris Stephens and Fred Lass as Bubba. The soundtrack for this fun feature is provided by the rockabilly band The Blast-Offs. Bubba (Stephens), a dogcatcher, wants nothing more than to win back his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Jo (Thomas). Mobsters Meet Zombies In ‘Vinnie And Mook Hitmen In Paradise’ By Mitch Hyman – Book Review

Mitch Hyman’s name is one you might recognize. He is the creator and writer of the hilarious Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic and the great 2014 film by the same name. Hyman is not only a great man, a writer and comic book creator, he is also a talented actor, producer and special effects artist. Mitch’s latest project, a novel titled Vinnie and Mook Hitmen in Paradise has not been long released. I happen to get my hands on a copy. Here’s what I thought. The dialogue between the two old school hitmen comes across like two siblings picking at each other in a snarky, but playful way. The first couple of chapters delve into Vinnie and Mook’s history and their relationship as business partners and

A Conversation With Comic Book Creator And Author Mitch Hyman

Earlier today I picked up the phone to interview comic book creator/actor/writer/producer/SFX makup artist/funny man Mitch Hyman, the man behind Bubba the Redneck Werewolf. I was not quite sure what to expect. I had no idea that Hyman would such an interesting, funny and sincere man. By the time I hung up the phone my sides were sore from laughing and my head was swimming with the fascinating stories he told. This man, who sometimes bills himself as “The asshole writer” at conventions, not a very fitting title, was far from unpleasant. It was the most interesting conversation I’ve had in ages. My interest in Hyman started over the hilarious trailer I discovered for his film Bubba the Redneck Werewolf , but I came to understand there was much, much more to the writer. Not only is there the Bubba the Redneck Werewolf comic, there’s a novel featuring two unique characters named Vinnie and Mook, who will be introduced in
