‘Twin Peaks’ Actress Grace Victoria Cox Joins Ted Bundy Film

Filming has begun for Joe Belinger’s Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. We reported back in May that Zac Efron had signed on to star in the film as notorious serial killer Ted Bundy and last week we showed you the first image. Now, we have more casting news to share. Deadline is reporting that Grace Victoria Cox has joined the cast. The ‘Twin Peaks’ actress will be playing the role of Carol Daronch, a young woman who survived an encounter with Bundy and later IDs him in court. Told from the perspective of Bundy’s ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins), the film covers a several year span of their relationship while Bundy was hiding stalking and killing young women. Angela Sarafyan will co-star as Joanna, Elizabeth’s close friend. Oscar nominee John Malkovich is set to play Edward Cowart, the judge who presided over the killer’s trial and sentencing. Michael Werwie penned the screenplay which took home the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship

Sony To Reboot ‘The Crow’

I remember being blown away by ‘The Crow’ (1994) and I felt akin to the anti-hero seeking revenge for his and his girlfriend’s murder. However, the sequels were slightly…well…extremely underwhelming. This is why horrorfuel.com is excited to announce that Sony is going to try their hand at making ‘The Crow: Reborn’. Deadline just announced that the studio is giving James O’Barr’s beloved comic another chance. But this time, they’re going to stay more loyal to the source material. His film is the ‘Macbeth’ of cinema. It has been plagued with setbacks and tragedy (most notably the death of Brandon Lee during the filming of the original). Jason Momoa was rumoured to be taking the title role, but now that he is busy with ‘Auquaman’ there is no confirmation if he is still attached to the project. Obviously we will keep you posted right here!

Neill Blomkamp Takes Us Inside The Worlds Of ‘Rakka’, ‘Firebase’ & ‘Zygote’ In An Interview

Writer-director Neill Blomkamp, who is behind films such as District 9, Elysium, and Chappie, is in the process of releasing a series of incredible short films, Rakka, Firebase, Zygote and the yet to be released Lima, together they are known as The Oats Studios Volume 1. After the series is complete, one or more are likely to become a feature film. Ahead of today’s release of the next film, Zygote, Mr. Blomkamp was kind enough to answer a few my questions in regards to his short film series and more, including the status of his highly-anticipated Alien feature film. Starring Dakota Fanning and Jose Cantillo, Zygote finds two surviving members of a mining operation fighting to escape a monster. Horror Fuel: “How would you describe ‘Zygote’?” Blomkamp: “How would you describe it?” Horror Fuel: “Two employees of a mining operation fight to survive a monster.” Blombkamp: “I’ll go with your description.” Horror Fuel: “If you will, tell us about the

Horror Comic Kicked From Kickstarter After Raising $700 Over “Graphic Content”

Full disclosure- the comic in question is mine, the campaign was run by me, and we’re now up and running on Indiegogo for anyone interested, and one of our perks is actually writing your name on an egg and throwing it at a Kickstarter poster. We haven’t made back a fraction of what we’ve lost so far, but at least we’re still in the game. . While Horrorfuel readers might know me for my reviews, news, and general writings on the horror community, I’ve also been co-writing a comic for about a year now, Tales From The Whorehouse of Horror. Maybe you can guess from the title it’s not something you read to your kid before you tuck him in at night. And I fully admit, and in fact relish, that The Whorehouse of Horror is a book full of filth, depravity, and everything that mainstream sensibilities tell you to steer the fuck away from. But it’s also a book

New Alien Horror Movie ‘Fighting the Sky’ Releases Trailers

Two very different trailers give glimpses into Conrad Faraj and David Matthew Cummings film ‘Fighting the Sky’. A movie about aliens, the first trailer give a feeling of hope and excitement with careful wariness about the future; the second trailer is straight up horror. My guess is that the searchers look for UFO’s (first trailer) and it goes drastically wrong (second trailer). “A group of young ufologists explore a series of apocalyptic sounds emerging from the sky. For years, all around the world, people have heard and recorded a thundering sound that emits from the sky without any origin or explanation. Even the scientists are stumped, folks, and the strange part is the media is ignoring it. Something is going on, and that something will be explored in Fighting The Sky.” Starring Angela Cole, Roger Conners, Matthew Ward, Nicole Ann Hicks, Alison Headrick, Jinette Faraj, Judith Faraj, Brianna Burke, Bailey Weaver, Logan Roberts, Ed Conrad, Larry Cahill. Right now, the

Trailer For “BnB Hell” Looks Exciting and Terrifying!

Ethereal music, screams and odd characters are nothing new in horror trailers, but the trailer for BnB Hell has a chilling feel to it that I can’t quite put my finger on. To quote Jack Nicholson’s Joker from 1989’s Batman “I don’t know what it is, but I like it.” Directed by Andrew Jordan, written by Andrea Harrison. Starring Kimberly Woods, Rudy Dobrev, and Carol Stanzione. Don’t miss it! A young woman’s hunt for her missing sister ends at a rundown bed and breakfast in the Hollywood Hills run by an ill-tempered woman called Mommy. Disturbing messages left by former guests suggest unsettling secrets lay buried there. Check out the trailer and then check out the movie on June 15. It will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and more.

Interview with “Rogue Warrior” Star, Tracey Birdsall

I had the wonderful opportunity to do a phone interview with Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter star, Tracey Birdsall this morning. I was absolutely impressed with not only her friendliness, but her excitement about Rogue Warrior and her career in general. Highly talented, highly awarded, and such a nice person. I urge every single one of you to check out Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter. Greg – Hello Tracey – Hi, this is Tracey Birdsall Greg – Hi, How are you doing? Tracey – I’m good, I’m good. Greg – So Horrorfuel.com wanted me to interview you about your upcoming Rogue Warrior movie. Tracey – Absolutely! Yet Another TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Reboot Gets a Release Date

I love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There’s a good chance you love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In fact, I’d guess it would be pretty hard to find a horror fan that doesn’t love, or at least respect, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now all that being said, do we really need another reboot? Well the good folks over at Lionsgate apparently think so, because were getting reboot number four! As far as the poster goes I will say I hate the feeling of wet socks, although I’m still not sure a puddle and skinny shins were the right direction to take. The plot itself, set to follow a teenage Leatherface breaking out of an asylum and kidnapping a nurse, doesn’t excite me either. While part of me wonders a little if his masks ever get adolescent acne, mostly it’s just boring. After all, isn’t that what a hulking, cousin fucking cannibal in a skin mask needs; and in-depth examination of what

The Cat In The Hat Somehow Makes The IT Trailer Even Creepier

The Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that….child murder that is! Taking a cue from the already vaguely horrifying 2003 film, famous internet mashup artist But Without has made a trailer combo for the ages, taking the recently released IT trailer and replacing all the horrifying Pennywise scenes with the somehow even more horrifying Mike Myer’s dressed as The Cat in the Hat. As both a huge IT fan (I read the book twice before I turned 13) and someone who actually really enjoys 2003’s Cat in the Hat (looking at it as a dark comedy designed to slowly drive Alec Baldwin mad makes it a lot funnier), this was the hardest I’ve found myself laughing in a long while. Truth be told, given the choice between being locked in a basement with a dancing clown or a 8 foot tall bipedal cat wielding a rusty hoe, I think I’d choose the clown.
