‘Haunting Of Hill House’ Creator Adapting “The Midnight Club” For Netflix

The team behind Netflix’s hit series “The Haunting of Hill House” is now set to adapt the Christopher Pike novel “The Midnight Club” for the streaming giant, according to Variety. Originally published back in 1994, the story is set at Rotterdam Home, a hospice for terminally ill teens. A group of patients begins to gather at midnights to share scary stories. Eventually, they make a pact that whichever kid dies first they will contact the others from beyond the grave. Mike Flanagan, who brought us “Haunting of Hill House” and will deliver its sequel “The Haunting of Bly Manor” later this year, also serves as the creator for the adaptation along with Leah Fong. Flanagan will executive produce under the Intrepid Pictures banner along with Trevor Macy. Fong will also executive produce. ‘Train To Busan’ Director Making ‘Hellbound’, A Supernatural Horror Series For Netlix

Director Yeon Sang-ho made waves with his 2016 hit zombie film Train to Busan, whose sequel Penninsula is on the way. Now, the director has a new project, a Netflix series titled Hellbound. The series is an adaptation of Choi Gyu-seok‘s Korean webtoon Hell, which tells of a group surviving under social chaos when a group of supernatural beings appear and condemn people to hell. A new religious group interprets them as the will of the divine. There is no release date announced as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Peninsula.

Netflix’s Zombie Series “Kingdom” Gets A Premiere Date And Teaser

Netflix’s medieval set Korean zombie series “Kingdom” has not only been renewed for a second season, but the streaming giant has also just announced the premiere date and released a teaser. Set South Korea’s medieval era known as the Joseon period (1392-1897), a kingdom has been defeated by corruption and famine as a mysterious plague spreads to turn those infected into monsters. The crown prince, framed for treason and desperate to save his people, sets out on a suicide mission to unveil what evil lurks in the dark. The series is written by Kim Eun-hee (Signal), based on his webcomic Land of the Gods. Directed by Kim Seong-hun, “Kingdom” returns on March 13th.

Cast Announced For Mike Flanagan’s Netflix Series “Midnight Mass”

“Haunting of Hill House” director Mike Flanagan‘s upcoming Netflix horror series “Midnight Mass,” has now officially announced its full cast. The seven-episode series follows an isolated island community experiencing miraculous events, and frightening omens, after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest. Deadline reports that Kate Siegel (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), and Hamish Linklater (“Legion”) star along with Annabeth Gish (The Haunting of Hill House). Michael Trucco (Hunter Killer), Samantha Sloyan (Grey’s Anatomy), Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House), Rahul Abburi (Killer Ransom), Matt Biedel (Altered Carbon), Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep), Rahul Kohli (Supergirl), Kristin Lehman (The Chronicles of Riddick), Crystal Balint (The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco), Robert Longstreet (Doctor Sleep), Igby Rigney (Blue Bloods) and Annarah Shephard round out the cast. Netflix Review: The Witcher

Netflix’s The Witcher, based on the book and gaming series, is a surprise hit. When I first heard about the series I was excited, Games of Thrones had ended and I was looking for something to take its place. I will confess, I’ve never read the books or played the games. Henry Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia, the Witcher. Cavill got ripped for his role as Superman, but he got swole for his role as The Witcher. I’ll be honest with you, he didn’t impress me as Superman, but he was made to play Geralt. A combination of badass, stoic, and heroic, you can’t help but cheer for the monster hunter whose goal, in the beginning, is to make a living slaying beasts for cash. Neil Gaiman Confirms First Two Seasons Of His Netflix Series ‘The Sandman’

Following the success of “American Gods,” Neil Gaiman is currently working on a new series, “The Sandman,” which we first reported back in August. Gaiman has teamed up with David Goyer (Dark Knight trilogy) to produce the new adaptation of his graphic novel series for Netflix. Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman) is serving as a writer and will also serve as showrunner. Described as “the most expensive TV series that DC Entertainment has ever done,” “The Sandman” is already approved for a second season. During a recent interview with Radio Times Gaiman confirmed the news. There are three of us, showrunner Heinberg, Goyer, and me, and we’ve just finished writing the first episode, and plotting and breaking down the first two seasons, so we’ll see what happens next.” The first season will feature eleven episodes, but up till now, we did not know that a second season was already ordered. Neil Gaiman’s ‘The Sandman’ Adaptation Finds A Home At Netflix

After multiple false starts, the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman” is finally a go and has been acquired by streaming giant Netflix, in what is being called a “massive” deal with Warner Bros. The adaptation comes 30 years after Gaiman’s first comic in the 75 issue collection was published, in which Morpheus wakes up after being in captivity for 70 years. Gaiman is penning the first episode of the series along with showrunner David S. Goyer, who was also behind the “Good Omens” adaptation. The Netflix series follows Morpheus as he copes with the world he missed unfold while in captivity. We will also meet Morpheus’ siblings referred to as “The Endless,” which includes Death, Destiny, Desire, Dream, Destruction, Despair, and Delirium.

I’m right there with you, that’s why I made this list of six Netflix series to watch after “Stranger Things”. Enjoy. “Black Spot” A small, remote town surrounded by forest has long been a place cursed by mysterious deaths and disappearances. The disappearance of her daughter’s best friend brings up old wounds for a police chief who sets out to solve the two mysteries that might be linked while a new prosecutor investigates a powerful local family. “Black Spot” is a fantastic, dark, brutal series featuring many twists and turns that keep you hooked. Is “Stranger Things” Ending?

“Stranger Things” is one of Netflix’s most loved series, just look at any social media platform and you’ll see people begging for more. You would figure Netflix would keep it going as long as they can, however, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Today, We Got This Covered is reporting some heartbreaking news that a “very reliable source” has told them that the streaming giant plans to wrap up the show after its fourth season. While Netflix had plans for five seasons it appears they are ending it early, though they have yet to confirm the reports. Season three left fans with so many questions (won’t spoil it for you in case you haven’t seen it) and a lot of heartache. Hopefully, in season four everything can be wrapped up properly before the end what is arguably their best series ever.

Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman, Grey’s Anatomy) will both write and serve as showrunner for the series. Neil Gaiman will executive produce along with David Goyer. The long-running horror-fantasy comic centers on Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, and the Endless, a powerful group of siblings that includes Death, Destiny, Despair, Destruction, Delirium, and Desire. Multiple times the comic has been set to be adapted into features films, but each time it failed to come together.
