Cast Announced For Mike Flanagan’s Netflix Series “Midnight Mass”

“Haunting of Hill House” director Mike Flanagan‘s upcoming Netflix horror series “Midnight Mass,” has now officially announced its full cast.

The seven-episode series follows an isolated island community experiencing miraculous events, and frightening omens, after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.

Deadline reports that Kate Siegel (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Zach Gilford (The Purge: Anarchy), and Hamish Linklater (“Legion”) star along with Annabeth Gish (The Haunting of Hill House).

Michael Trucco (Hunter Killer), Samantha Sloyan (Grey’s Anatomy), Henry Thomas (The Haunting of Hill House), Rahul Abburi (Killer Ransom), Matt Biedel (Altered Carbon), Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep), Rahul Kohli (Supergirl)Kristin Lehman (The Chronicles of Riddick), Crystal Balint (The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco), Robert Longstreet (Doctor Sleep)Igby Rigney (Blue Bloods) and Annarah Shephard round out the cast.

Interesting fact: “Midnight Mass” has ties to two other of Flanagan’s films. Midnight Mass is the title of the book written by the character Maddie Young in Hush. The title appears again in Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s Gerald’s Game.

Filming is set to begin this Spring.
