Behold The First Image Of Bill Skarsgard In Full Costume As Pennywise In IT!

Fans were excited to see Bill Skarsgard in full makeup as Pennywise. Now, we have our first look at Skarsgard in full costume as Pennywise, via EW. The new Pennywise is darker, and dirtier, than the character originally played by Tim Curry. Frankly, it’s terrifying. Director Andy Mushetti’s adaption of Stephen King’s ‘IT’, based on the script penned by Gary Dauberman and Chase Palmer, is said to be headed to a much darker and disturbing place than the 1990 mini series. Producer Dan Lin recently gave Collider a few hints during the TCA Summer Presentation about the film (which you can read all about HERE). He explained several things including the film’s tone and casting Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise. His build is really interesting. He’s really tall and lanky, and feels a little clown like in his movement. When he came in – we had a lot of different actors read, and when he came in he had a different

The First Image Of Bill Skarsgard As Pennywise Has Surfaced And It’s Pretty Damn Creepy

A few months ago we reported that the IT remake had cast Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise, a part originally played by Tim Curry. A few days ago we speculated what the new Pennywise might look like. Well, we don’t have to wonder any longer. The first real image of Bill Skarsgard in the makeup and red nose has arrived, via Entertainment Weekly. And I have to admit, he looks pretty damn creepy. Andy Muschietti (Mama) will be in the director’s chair for the two-part remake of IT, set to arrive in theaters on September 8, 2017. The first film centers on a group of teens, referred to as “The Losers Club”, who go head-to-head with the entity that takes the shape of Pennywise, a demented clown. The second will involve “The Losers Club” who have come back to town as adults and once again must face Pennywise.

Our First Look At Bill Skarsgard As Pennywise In The Upcoming IT Remake

We reported earlier this month that Bill Skarsgard has been cast as Pennywise, originally played by Tim Curry, the terrifying entity that appears as a clown in the remake of the mini series based on Stephen King’s novel IT. Skarsguard, most well known for his role on Eli Roth’s Netflix Original series Hemlock Grove and in The Divergent Series: Allegiant, will be putting on full makeup for the first time. Today, we finally get a look at Skarsgard as Pennywise, the clown that caused many people to develop a fear of all clowns, courtesy of a fan’s artwork. He looks scary in the poster below, but I look forward to seeing an actual photo of Skarsgard as the creepy clown. Pennywise Is Coming To New York!

The reboot of the 1990 miniseries ‘IT’, based on the Stephen King novel by the same name, is finally entering the pre-production phase of filming. After a five year wait, ‘IT’ will begin filming this June in New York. The new version of ‘IT’ will be divided into two films and possibly a trilogy by director Cary Fukunaga. Writers Seth Grahame Smith, David Kajganich and Chase Palmer wrote the script for the new ‘IT’. Director Cary Fukunaga The biggest delay in filming has been trying to find a new Pennywise who can match Tim Curry’s performance as the killer clown (if that’s even possible). There is no word yet who has been cast as the new Pennywise or who else will star in ‘IT’. ‘It’ follows the story of a group of adults who have returned to their home town, where they were tormented as children by bullies and by visions of a killer clown named Pennywise.
