Movie Review: Curse of the Witch’s Doll is an Old School Atmospheric Horror Show!

The longer time I spend in the horror biz, the more I see some truly ground breaking, heartfelt, monster masterpieces. Let’s see if Curse of The Witch’s Doll (or as it’s sometimes known The Witch’s Doll…or, and this one happens to be my favorite due to it’s sublime creativity, Conjuring the Witch’s Doll) is one of those… Curse of The Witch’s Doll in war torn 1940’s Europe, a Adeline and daughter seek shelter in a house deep in the woods. Everything would be fine and dandy for the duo except a seemingly living doll inhabits the dwelling as well, and after Adeline’s daughter goes missing after a rousing game of hide n’ seek, it’s up to our heroine to break a centuries old witch’s curse, find her daughter, and put that evil six feet under! Comprised of a more subtle and dramatic story line than you would expect, Curse of The Witch’s Doll is a bit of a pleasant surprise.

Movie Review: ‘Dogged’ Is Laden With Disturbingly Dark Secrets

A young man named Sam is returning from university to his boyhood home, located in a village on a tidal island called Farthing Island. The purpose of his visit is to attend the funeral of a young girl who died in a tragic, albeit mysterious, accident, and to also attend the community’s annual Festival of Thanks. Of course sometimes going back home isn’t as comforting an experience as one would hope, and in the wake of the recent tragedy this small town is cloaked in a shroud of secrecy. Something clandestine is afoot on Farthing Island, and Sam will learn he isn’t just paranoid as he uncovers a disturbing part of the village’s history. Richard Rowntree was at the helm for Dogged, which he and Matthew Davies co-scripted with. Indie Horror ‘Dogged’ Releases A Dark, Intense First Trailer

Dogged: Having or showing the attitude of a person who wants to do or get something and will not stop trying : stubborn and determined Dogged, a modern folk horror film and Richard Rowntree’s feature directorial debut, delves into our primal fears of what might be lurking woods. Co-written by Rowntree and Matthew Davies, the feature is based on their 2015 award-winning short film by the same name. New Trailer Arrives For ‘Conjuring The With’s Doll’ – Based On A True Story

The trailer for a new film featuring a haunted doll has arrived, Conjuring the Witch’s Doll, and supposedly, it is based on a true story. Written and directed by Lawrence Fowler, the film centers on a family who have fled to an old manor in the woods in an attempt to avoid the city’s bombing. When Adeline Gray’s daughter does missing in the manor, a series of inexplicable events lead her to believe a doll is possessed by the soul of a murdered witch. Starring Helen Crevel, Neil Hobbs, Philip Ridout, Claire Carreno, and Layala Watts, the movie was originally titled The Witch’s Doll. We will let you know when the release date is announced by Up A Notch Productions.
