Prison cells are virtual reality holodecks that recreate prisoner environments before they were incarcerated. A special hallucinogenic gas keeps inmates under control. Now, Whalen has written his own script, a story about a man and a murderous monster made of socks, Crust. Currently crowdfunding, Crust combines humor and horror for a film with heart.
