Fear Crypt Unleash Two New Short Films!

Those delightfully devious devils over at the Fear Crypt Youtube channel have sent a deadly dup of sinister short films my way, and as such yours cruelly is going to give them the ol’ revoltin review treatment! First up we have Fused: Sarah (Sarah McGuire) has one hell of a nasty-ass skin condition, and that shit is spreadin’ faster than the town whore. Needless to say, her doctor (Jennifer Femiano) is baffled, and her paramour Cassie (Katie Rohlfing) is none to pleased by the disappearing act our heroine has pulled since this eerie epidermal nightmare has begun. Speaking of ol’ Cass; Sarah finally lets her in on the fact that she has been havin’ more blackouts than the town drunk (just what kind of town do I live in anyway?!!)… something she’s failed to inform her doc, and when Cassie offers to watch over her during one such unconscious episode she gets an eyeful of more than she bargained for!

One Woman Is Out To Serve Justice In The Revenge Thriller ‘Guilt’

I think we’ll all agree that pedophiles should be given harsher punishments, with the sorry excuse for humans frequently getting off light. But in directors Karl Jenner and Lyndsay Sarah‘s revenge thriller Guilt, one woman is out to serve justice. In the film, written by Sarah and Janet Shay, and starring Janet Shay, Hayley Flowers, and Sandra Stock, “angered by all the child abuse in the world, a child psychologist goes vigilante, targeting child sex offenders who escaped severe sentences.” Karl Jenner and Lyndsay Sarah produce alongside Cobalt Media, Digital Realm, and Rogue Entertainment. Movie Review: Shortcut (2020)

Headed to theaters this September is the survival horror Shortcut from director Alessio Liguori. Ahead of its debut, I snagged a copy to review. Here are my thoughts. Written by Daniele Cosci, Shortcut follows a group of five teens and their bus driver as they travel down an empty road. When they come to a spot blocked by a downed tree they must take a shortcut, only to find that road blocked as well by a dead deer. When the bus driver (Terence Anderson) gets out to drag it off the road so that they continue their journey, he is ambushed by a psycho and held at gunpoint, and forced to keep driving. You would think that things were bad enough, but you’d be wrong. There’s something out there, something hungry, that is ready to pounce when the bus breaks down in a tunnel. Let me start off by saying that I was very impressed by the young cast that

Movie Review: ‘The Babysitter: Killer Queen’ Is A Frighteningly Funny Flick

There are few genres I love as much as horror, but horror-comedies are right up there on the list. When you can find one of those rare films that can both scare you and make you laugh, you’re in for a treat! Two years ago we were left overjoyed with Netflix The Babysitter, so when Netflix announced the sequel, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, I was beyond excited. Now, that bad boy is about, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! Judah Lewis returns as the quick-witted Cole, this time around he doesn’t just have a cult to deal with, everyone thinks he made up the events from the first movie. If that’s not enough, there’s also the regular high school drama. The poor kid can’t catch a break. Lewis has acting talent beyond his years and pulls off the character to the “T”. The combo of goofy, sweet, and slightly badass is perfect for this character. He’s relatable

Sci-Fi Horror ‘Honeymoon Phase’ Unveils Trailer Ahead Of September Release

The honeymoon phase is meant to be one of the best times in a marriage, but sometimes, things go terribly wrong. That’s the case in writer-director Phillip G. Carroll Jr.‘s The Honeymoon Phase. “Down on their luck and needing some quick cash, struggling young lovers Tom and Eve lie about their relationship in order to enter THE MILLENNIUM PROJECT, an experiment for married couples run by the mysterious Director and Handler. With the promise of $50,000, Tom and Eve must survive 30-days isolated together in a futuristic smart home, while the researchers attempt to determine why couples fall out of love. Over the course of their stay, Eve begins a violent descent into madness as she questions if her lover really is the man she thinks he is. A paranoid sci-fi thriller about the nature of trust in relationships, The Honeymoon Phase is as much classic “Twilight Zone” as contemporary “Black Mirror”, and an all-too-terrifying answer to the question, “How
