New Supernatural Series ‘Midnight, Texas’ Coming To NBC This July

Vampires and psychics and werewolves, oh my! We first told you about the upcoming supernatural series Midnight, Texas back last year. Soon, the trailer was released. This February we broke the news that Friday the 13th star Derek Mears would be making an appearance on the new show. Now, NBC has announced that we will see Midnight, Texas premiere this summer. The series featured episodes that were everything from sci-fi to horror and was directed by the who’s who of directors including Martin Scorsese, Tom Holland, Tobe Hooper and Spielberg himself. He will be joined in the writers’ room by Emily Gordon, Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani, and Jane Goldman, Crave reports. We are working on a variety of scripts from a variety of sources, and we’ve got a lot of really great writers involved.” Fuller told Crave. “So it feels like I’m curating the Amazing Stories magazine. Yeah, so that’s very exciting because I get to collaborate with other writers and just let them do their thing under that umbrella, which is a relief.” Image: Crave
