Jen And Sylvia Soska’s Reimagining Of Rabid Slaying At Screenings

When Jen and Sylvia Soska‘s reimagining of David Cronenberg’s 1977 classic, Rabid was announced last year I was thrilled. I’ll be honest, I’ve been a fan of the “Twisted Twins” since I first saw American Mary back 2012. Today, I have the pleasure of reporting that the sisters announced via Twitter that Rabid has been officially completed. On top of it, the film has already been test-screened and people are singing its praises. There’s a type of postpartum depression that comes with finishing a film. We directors, we’re masochists. We live for it. When it’s over, there’s just a huge void. That said, I’m excited for the future. — The Soska Sisters (@twisted_twins) February 22, 2019 Laura Vandervoort stars alongside Greg Bryk, Stephen Huszar, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Stephen McHattie. What happens when you realize that to achieve your dreams you have to live a nightmare? Rose (Laura Vandervoort) is a quiet, demure, unassuming woman in her looks and actions. Her

The Soska Sisters’ Remake Of ‘Rabid’ Set to Begin Production

We last updated you on the Soska Sisters’, Jen and Sylvia, remake of David Cronenberg’s film Rabid back in April of this year. There has been no word since, until now. THR is reporting that A71 Entertainment has snagged the Canadian rights to the remake which is set to begin production next year. Paul Lalonde, Michael Walker, and Back 40 Pictures’ John Vidette are producing. We are very honored to have been the team chosen to take on the remake of Cronenberg’s Rabid. Also, we’ve been dying to get back into body horror. Ten years into David’s filmmaking career, he remade The
