Movie Review: Space (2020)

The long and short of Space goes as follows: in the future year 2050, things ain’t fuckin’ nifty for Dr. Ada Gray (Lara Jean Sullivan) and her comrades aboard The Udo. You see, after one of your outer space accidents, which are a lot like normal accidents, just with the outer space part ramped-up considerably, these folks find themselves involved in a fight for survival leaves them stranded out in the middle of nowhere, your galaxy, U.S. of A. Seems like a simple premise, and for the most part it is, but man does this flick do a ton of things right! Let’s start with the cast, all of whom are pretty solid performers, but the stand-out for your’s cruelly was the aforementioned Lara Jean Sullivan who carries the picture with an engaging performance that adds a ton of heart and soul to a picture that has plenty to spare! Plus it’s always cool to see modern-day exploitation maestro Len

Enjoy Your Trip! Game Review Of ‘Elea’ For Xbox One

Not long ago I talked about the upcoming surreal sci-fi game “Elea”. The game’s developers, Kyodai and Sodesco were kind enough to allow me the chance to review the game early before its September 6th release. The game itself is an episodic adventure telling the story of Elea, who’s on a journey through space to find her husband who’s gone missing along with his crewmates on a mission to find a new planet to colonize and now his ship was found but is mysteriously going through a quarantine procedure. After completing the first chapter it should be noted that the story I’ve played will be updated on launch day with a different beginning since I don’t know exactly how much of a change there will be, I’ll forgo focusing too much on the narrative I encountered in my playthrough. The main thing that blew me away was the graphics! Nicely detailed and textured, the colors are amazing and fit well

‘Elea’ A Surreal Sci-Fi Game Experience Coming This September (Trailer)

Prepare to visit space in a sci-fi adventure into the surreal in the episodic game, “Elea”. Bulgarian developer Kyodai and worldwide Publisher Sodesco, are taking players to the year 2073 where Earth was struck with a terrible childhood disease that’s threatening mankind. The game follows Elea, whose husband was part of an expedition to a planet that’s believed to be habitable and will save mankind. Naturally, the mission goes awry and communication is lost after his ship and crew are not heard from again after they approached the planet. Years later a distress signal is sent from the ship and Elea joins a recovery mission where she goes on a surreal journey through time and space as she looks for her husband. The game is in first-person and heavily story driven as it’s inspired by the literary works of sci-fi pioneers Stanislaw Lem, Arthur C. Clarke, and Frank Herbert. The game will be out September 6th for the Xbox One

Martian Insanity In ‘Moons Of Madness’

Norwegian game developer Rock Pocket Games is sending gamers to Mars where Lovecraftian horrors await in ‘Moons of Madness’. The game is a first-person psychological horror story where players take on the role of astronaut Shane Newhart who encounters supernatural events at the first research station on the red planet. The game takes a twist on the insanity element of the game where developers came up with a “Zone-Out” mechanic where players see through Shane’s eyes a mix of Shane’s past, events that have not happened yet or things Shane should not know but now does. These Zone-Out events are to add to the anxiety of the game for players making them question what information they are getting from these unique hallucinations are real or not. Keeping with true Lovecraft elements, when humanity thinks it understands the universe it throws a horrific curveball, exploring the unknown without really being prepared for it, ‘Moons of Madness’ is set to be released

Just Say No To George Lucas (Episode II)

Prequels It’s tempting to leave the brilliant Mr. Plinkett Star Wars prequel reviews to suffice for this post. I think they should be used in film classes everywhere. Red Letter Media’s brilliant look at what went wrong with the franchise is without equal and perfectly nails everything wrong with three installments that scarred memories and almost derailed a franchise. The critiques are raunchy and in terrible taste but they are also funny as hell and exquisite. See all of them HERE There are multiple parts for each film, but every single one of them is worth it. Watching the Plinkett critiques was far more entertaining than watching the actual films. &list=PL5919C8DE6F720A2D#action=share To someone who’s under the age of 20 and says his his least favorite film in the series is the Empire Strikes Back because “it was the most boringest one,” can I suggest you shut this review off right now before I carefully explain how much of a fucking
