Movie Review: The Suicide Squad Is A Fun Action-Packed Flick

I think that we can agree, 2016’s Suicide Squad wasn’t great. So when the new movie hit HBO Max this weekend, I had my doubts about it. So what did I do? I watched it. The film kicked off with a new squad headed to an island nation to take out a tower, but once they land on the beach, they discover that one of their squad has ratted them out and all hell breaks loose. What they don’t know is a second squad has landed on the island with the same mission, thankfully. As the team moves forward, they are sent to rescue Harley Quinn and Colonel Flagg after they are caught. While attempting to complete their mission of destroying the tower they discover a creature that’s out of this world as their loyalties are tested. The cast is huge, but the most important characters include Bloodsport, a badass played by Idris Elba, who joins the squad so that

Stallone himself confirmed his involvement with a video on Instagram. Some are speculating that Stallone will be the voice of King Shark. Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone & our work today on #TheSuicideSquad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is. 🙌 Speaking of the sequel’s cast, several actors will be returning to reprise their roles. Jared Leto To Star In Sony’s Morbius Movie

A few months ago we reported that Sony was expanding their shared Marvel universe with the new spin-off Morbius. Today, Sony stated that Daniel Espinosa has been tapped to direct. They also announced their star, Oscar Winner Jared Leto. But the musician/actor is not new to the comic world, back in 2016 he played the role of Joker in Suicide Squad. He also has a solo movie in the works where he will reprise his role as the insane villain. In the comics, Morbius was a scientist who, “in trying to find a cure for a rare blood disease, accidentally transformed himself into a living vampire who, though disgusted by his own bloodlust, chooses to prey upon criminals he deems unworthy of life.” The film will be an adaptation of the character created in 1971 by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gil Kale, which debuted in “The Amazing Spider-Man #101”.
