The Conjuring 2 is everywhere, social media, TV, and is still number one at the box office for its second week. I’ve been dying to see The Conjuring 2. Last night, I made the hour-plus drive to the nearest theater to see it for myself, and I was not disappointed. Directed by genre genius James Wan and starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as the real life legendary paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, The Conjuring 2 takes on two real life paranormal events. The Conjuring 2, based on a true story, delves into the Enfield Poltergiest. But the film begins with the Amityville investigation. The Amityville haunting began in real life when the Lutz family moved into the home once owned by the DeFeo family and began experiencing paranormal events, which inspired The Amityville Horror. On November 13, 1974 police discovered the bodies of six members of the DeFeo family shot and killed in their home at 112 Ocean

The Conjuring 2 Scares Man To Death

It turns out, The Conjuring 2, directed by James Wan, is not only killing at the box office, it’s actually killing viewers. Thursday night a 65-year-old man and his friend were watching The Conjuring 2 at the Sri Balasubramaniar Cinema in Tiruvannamalai, India. During the film’s scariest scene the man fainted. By the time an ambulance arrived the man was having a heart attack. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Old Government Hospital, The Times of India reported. The man’s death has taken a strange turn, his body is now missing after the hospital staff asked the man’s friend to take the body to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. Now, both the man’s body and his friend have gone M.I.A. The police are now investigating. The Director Of Annabelle 2 Says It Will Be Better Than The Original

2013’s genre hit The Conjuring not only laid a path for it’s sequel, which is now in theaters nationwide, it also gave life to a spin-off. Annabelle introduced us to the haunted doll that in real life came into the possession of Ed and Lorraine Warren, the main characters of both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, and real life paranormal investigators. While The Conjuring 2 continues to wow at the box office, the sequel to Annabelle is already entering production. David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) will be directing Annabelle 2 and, he already seems very excited about the film. Sandberg even called the sequel “The Godfather II of creepy doll movies,” while speaking to Bloody-Disgusting. A Spin-Off Of The Conjuring 2 Already In The Works

The Conjuring 2, directed by genre genius James Wan, arrived in theaters this past weekend and there is already a spin-off in the works at New Line, which will be penned by Conjuring 2 writer David Leslie Johnson. The studio revealed to EW that the spin-off will center on the story behind the terrifying nun featured in The Conjuring 2, which played a big role in the film that recounts the true story of the Enfield Poltergeist. James Wan and Peter Safran will serve as producers for the film. The Conjuring 2’s predecessor, The Conjuring, also spawned a spin-off about Annabelle, a haunted doll. The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2 and Annabelle are all based on the real life paranormal investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren, played in the films by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The Conjuring 2 Inspires Terrifying Prank

One of the (many) great things about horror blockbusters is the pranks they inspire. Warner Bros. teamed up with the Brazilian YouTube series Cameras Escondidas (Hidden Cameras) to great a terrifying prank, inspired by The Conjuring 2, is titled Invocacao do Mal 2 (Invocation of Evil 2). Check out the video below introduced by The Conjuring 2’s director James Wan. I have to admit, I feel a little sorry for the victims of the prank. They may be scarred for life.

Director James Wan Declares He Wants To Redefine Horror In The Conjuring 2’s New Featurette

The year’s most highly-anticipated horror film, The Conjuring , will open in theaters in two weeks. A series of featurettes have already been released, one even features REAL recordings from the Warren’s investigation into the Enfield Poltergeist, which the film is based on. A single mother and her children are suddenly plagued by paranormal activity, including levitations, possessions, and physical attacks. It is known as the most investigated supernatural case in history. If that featurette doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what will. The other featurette stars Lorraine Warren and Janet, who was the main target of the activity. Together they discuss the “Strange Happenings” in Enfield. The newest featurette debuted today. In the Conjuring 2, directed by James Wan, we witness Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to England in the 1970s to investigate the poltergeist activity plaguing a single mother and her children. Referred to as “The Enfield Poltergeist”, the real life haunting is the most well documented paranormal events in history. The Hodgson family experienced voices, levitations, manifestations and violence mainly directed towards one girl, Janet. The Warrens are still recognized as the most famous paranormal/supernatural investigators of all time. In both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 the Warrens are played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. The first film was scary, but I expect the sequel to be terrifying.
