A new ‘Walking Dead’ promo is out and it shows the group in a dark place. AMC is clearly preparing us for a dark season. Rick and the group have uncertain times ahead of them. With the events of the season five finale, so many things are up in there air. In the Comic-Con trailer we saw Rick and the group still on the outs of the Alexandria group, with people questioning Rick’s ability to lead. The trailer also showed a lot of chaos and a whole lot of walkers. And a new threat lurks beyond the gates. “The Wolves”, a group of merciless characters, have already taken a shot at several people. Every season death predictions are announced, this year I think we loose a lot of of our favorite people. Season six of ‘The Walking Dead’ premiers on October 11th.

The sixth season of The Walking Dead is only months away (October) and someone has come up with a viral campaign that started on Twitter. Hordes of people tied to The Walking Dead have been receiving strange packages containing pieces of of paper, letters in blood, damaged Polaroid pictures, locks of hair, keys and other strange objects, all shipped from Woodbury. That’s right, Woodbury. The pictures are being shared with the hash tag #PackageFromWoodbury. What does this mean? Now a phone number, 912-307-3075, is being shared on Twitter, believed to be for Fear the Walking Dead .When the number is called a changing prerecorded message is played. The first message: “The following message is transmitted at the request of the National Emergency Hotline. An unknown event is underway across the Eastern United States. Residents of Florida, South Carolina and Georgia are instructed to shelter in place, turn off the lights, lock all doors and remain quiet for their own safety.

With ‘The Walking Dead’ approaching it’s October 11th premier date, it’s no surprise that news of new cast members is beginning to surface. Let’s face it, every time a new person shows up we have the same reaction, distrust and doubt. The names of the first three new cast members has now been released. The first character is Denise Cloyd, played by Merritt Wever. Wever has starred in films such as ‘Birdman’ and ‘Signs’ as well as shows such as ‘New Girl’, ‘Nurse Jackie’,’Law and Order’and ‘NCIS’. The character Cloyd is an adaption of the comic book character. The character Carter will be played by Ethan Embry. Embry’s character is a combination of multiple characters from Kirkman’s comics. Scott Gimple told Entertainment Weekly that the character “… is an Alexandrian, and has been there the whole time, just quite busy.” Ethan Embry should look very familiar. The trailer and premier date for season 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’ has just been released and fans are beyond excited, myself included . We have been eagerly awaiting this day, well, since the season 5 finale. When will season 6 premier? The premier will air on October 11 on AMC. In the trailer it seems that our favorite Sheriff may be wearing out his welcome. I don’t know about you, but I am seriously concerned for the safety of the (original) group. There are walkers every where and the dynamics inside of Alexandria are volatile at best. Stills from the video show just how much trouble the group is really in. Daryl and Rick appear to be at odds. Will Daryl stand by Rick or stand against him? Rick seems to be spiraling out of control. I can’t help but wonder who he has drawn his gun on. Seeing Daryl tied up with a gun in his face really

AMC has released the first promotional artwork for the highly anticipated season six of ‘The Walking Dead’ just ahead of Comic Con. The season five finale left us with many questions. Did Glenn infected during his struggle with the walkers ? How will Rick and Morgan reunion go ? Who are the Wolves and will they attack Alexandria ? How will the Alexandria residence respond to Rick’s new outlook ? So many questions. In the new promotional art, everyone looks pissed off. Notice that the two groups are separated and it looks as if Rick and Morgan are literally going head to head. Is that a hint that next season the two men will clash? I guess we will just have to wait until October to find out.
