‘Boar’ Trailer Finally Released…And It Is Gory

The movie poster from the sure-to-be-gory film ‘Boar’ was just release, but now we have a trailer to go with it! The film will debut at the Brussels International Film Festival on April 13. One think I am most excited for (and it is very wonderfully obvious in the trailer) is the use of actual effects instead of CGI. That fact alone is enough for me to check out the film! In the harsh, yet beautiful Australian Outback lives a beast, an animal of staggering size, with a ruthless, driving need for blood and destruction. It cares for none, defends its territory with brutal force, and kills with a raw, animalistic savagery unlike any have seen before. Believed nothing more than a myth, a legend brought to life by a drunken local, the beast ventures closer to civilization, closer to life, and ultimately, closer to death. It’s brutal, it’s bloodthirsty… it’s Boar. ‘Boar’ stars Wolf Creek’s John Jarratt alongside Otis

Gameplay Gets Medieval In ‘Lorn’

Currently in development by Teamkill Studio comes a survival horror game that will take players deep beneath the ruins of a great kingdom where horrors await in Lorn. The game will be in first-person and from what was seen in the teaser trailers players will have to traverse deadly obstacles, and using stealth to avoid being attacked by enemies very much like Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Players take on a role of Voss, a loyal servant to a king who with the help of supernatural powers just committed genocide and sealed the souls of those killed in an ancient artifact called ‘’the heart of god’’ that was given to him by beings that came from the sky in which the king refers to them as ‘they’. These beings promised to grant the king immortality if he harvested the souls. Voss stole the artifact and is on a quest to hide it as deep as he can go in the old

Teaser For Survival Horror Game ‘Crying Is Not Enough’

The folks over at Story Line Team will soon be releasing a survival horror game that’s five years in the making, Crying Is Not Enough. This upcoming indie game will have players taking on the role of Jacob whose wife mysteriously vanishes from the hospital after she recovered from a car accident. Jacob then is told by a mysterious woman where his wife is and offers her assistance where players will be sent into a horrifying reality where Jacob will learn that his story is a minor plot in a tangled web of horror, hate, fear, and intrigue which he is now forced to survive. The game will be in third-person, from the teaser and screenshots I’m getting a sense of Silent Hill, Evil Within, and Alan Wake to it, the developers did say that Crying Is Not Enough was influenced by some big name games that left their marks on the survival horror genre in gaming. Keeping true to

Petition To Halt Release Of ‘Slender Man’ Movie Gains Momentum

A new online petition is calling for SONY Studios to halt the release of their upcoming horror movie Slender Man citing the incident that made headlines back in 2014 when Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, both 12 years old at the time, tried to murder a friend and fellow classmate, Payton Leutner also age 12. The motive behind the attack that stunned their hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin was that they wanted to become “proxies” to the fictional character Slender Man and prove their loyalty to him so their families will be spared by him. One of the film’s biggest critics and is said to have signed the petition himself is Anissa Weier’s father who calls the film “extremely distasteful” due to the fact that three families have been affected by this fictional character. Weier was sentenced to 25 years in a Mental Health facility after pleading guilty and subsequently found not guilty due to mental illness by a jury, Her

Everyone has had a first date nightmare, let’s all join together and watch other’s nightmares instead of our own! We have the trailer debut for the Horror Comedy ‘The First Date’ coming to Amazon Video, Amazon Prime and Vimeo On Demand on September 26! “Tired of the online dating world, a hopeful woman decides to give it one last try with a charming stranger who owns his own theater and has a collection of very strange short films.
