Nine Inch Nails Duo Composing Soundtrack For HBO’s “Watchmen” Series

Following the news that HBO has ordered Damon Lindelof’s series adaptation of Alan Moore’s DC graphic novel “Watchman“, we have learned that Nine Inch Nails rockers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be composing the series’ soundtrack! The duo also teamed up for 2010’s The Social Network which won them an Oscar. According to HBO: Watchmen’ embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.” That is in keeping with the letter Lindelof posted for fans back in May in which he stated that the show will not be a re-telling of the story from the graphic novel, but rather a new story in the same world with new characters set in the present day.” The cast includes Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and

Trent Reznor And Atticus Ross To Release An Early ‘Halloween’ Treat

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th, my Little Monsters. We often associate this day with a movie series that began with a murderously vengeful mother and evolved to feature a death dealing juggernaut…his name was Jason. However, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will be releasing a music track on Friday October 13th, that is associated with another beloved day we will all be observing at the end of the month – Halloween. Reznor and Ross are taking a stab (get it…STAB) at covering the iconic theme from John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic, Halloween. The track is being released by way of Sacred Bones and Reznor’s own record label, The Null Corporation. A sample track had been available earlier at Amazon (I know this, because I listened to it), but has since disappeared and is now replaced with an error message that is accompanied by a random picture of one of the “dogs of Amazon”. Hopefully, after the build up I’ve seen

Return To Twin Peaks This May – The Official Premiere Date Announced

It has been nearly thirty years since ‘Twin Peaks’ aired, but the show still has plenty of die-hard fans. Many were over the moon when news came back in 2015 that Showtime would be reviving the spooky series. Last week, we reported a image that surfaced from the website Welcome to Twin Peaks of a calendar marking April 30th as the premiere date, but it turns out that information wasn’t true. Today, the official premiere date for season 3 was announced by Showtime as May 21st at 9pm. The new season will have 18 episodes, according to Deadline, filmed as one long movie then cut to fit the time slots. Back in April, Showtime unveiled the new massive cast list, 217 actors and actresses, including David Duchovny, Ashley Judd, David Lynch, Michael Cera, Jim Belushi, and Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor (full list below). Twin Peaks Premiering This April?

It has been nearly thirty years since ‘Twin Peaks’ aired, but the show still has plenty of die-hard fans. Many were over the moon when news came back in 2015 that Showtime would be reviving the spooky series. It has been a while since we last heard an update. Today, that changes. We have news! It appears the revival may have a premiere date. According to the website Welcome to Twin Peaks, a promotional calendar was sent out by Showtime. The date April 30, 2017 is marked with “Welcome to Twin Peaks”. Showtime has not confirmed the date as of yet, but it would be odd for the promotional calendar to have one specific day marked, unless there is something important about it. Back in April, Showtime unveiled the new massive cast list that includes David Duchovny, Ashley Judd, David Lynch, Michael Cera, Jim Belushi, and Nine Inch Nails rocker Trent Reznor (full list below).
