Psychological-Horror Game ‘Someday You’ll Return’ Coming Fall 2019

What could be described as a lovechild between Outlast 2, Firewatch, Resident Evil 7, and Vanishing of Ethan Carter; comes a whole new psychological-horror adventure game, Someday You’ll Return. The game comes from the 2-man indie developer team out of Brno, CBE Software. This first-person experience follows Daniel as he searches the Moravian forests for his runaway daughter Stela. It’s a mystery as to why Stela chose these woods that Daniel swore he would never return to, which adds to the mystery of WHY does he not want to go back there. Daniel will encounter locals and supernatural forces that will help fill in the blanks of his past and answer why Stela is always running away from home. The game is horror but has a strong narrative-driven exploration element as the open world (a forest) is full of trails that can be explored using Daniel’s tracking skills and rock-climbing ability. There’s also a crafting mechanic where you can create

Make People Believe You In ‘The Blackout Club’

Have you ever watched a movie about a kid who notices something strange, and no one believes them? Meanwhile, you’re sitting there comfortably saying in between handfuls of popcorn, “I would have done that differently.”, well now’s your chance! Game developer Question will dare players to live out this scenario in their upcoming co-op horror game, The Blackout Club. Players team up to collect evidence of a nefarious organization in their small town. The Blackout Club is about a teen, in a typical small town in America, who wakes up in random places with no recollection of what happened to them. Players meet other kids in the town who have the same experience and formed “the blackout club”. Things escalate when your friend goes missing and now strange adults are trying to kill you. The club discovers a series of tunnels under the town that acts as a base of operations for this group of adults. No one believes the

New Details About ‘World War Z’ Video Game!

Previously there was an announcement trailer for the upcoming official co-op zombie survival video game World War Z based on the movie by the same name. Recently there have been major updates announced in regards to the game itself by Sabre Interactive (the game’s developer) CEO Matthew Karch who sat down with PlayStation Magazine. As mentioned in a previous article and now confirmed, players will be going to locations that were in the films namely Jerusalem and the South Korean airbase; players will also be going to New York City and Moscow with the promise that more locations around the globe will be added eventually. Players will be able to construct traps as well as barriers to alter the path of the running hoard. Now some new details! The game will be in third person view (most like over the shoulder view). The environment can be manipulated in order to assist you; you can blow up cars to help take

Players Take On The Hoard In ‘World War Z’

Gamers and fans of the film and book ‘World War Z’ will be able to take their love of the story a step further and actually be in the middle of the body-piling chaos along with friends in the upcoming 4 player Co-Op video game by Saber Interactive. The overall story is unknown but takes players to recognizable locations from the film as well as some locations that were not in the film. Players can make traps, upgrade weapons, build barriers, and use their surroundings to keep back and survive the (debatable) undead hoard. My prediction is the game will resemble that of ‘Left 4 Dead’ and ‘Killing Floor’ both game series focus on teamwork and reaching objectives while surviving an onslaught of zombies. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, you can check out the reveal trailer below and check out the website here!

Survival Horror & WWI In ‘Ad Infinitum’

‘Ad Infinitum’ means again and again in the same way; forever. Kind of along the lines of the saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” That seems to be hinting at what’s going to happen to players when they play StrixLab’s upcoming survival horror game, ‘Ad Infinitum’. According to the StrixLap website, the game takes place in a trench during the First World War but there are horrific creatures stalking around in them. While playing in first person, you have to solve puzzles, avoid traps and of course, avoiding the creatures whiles the lines of insanity and the horrors of war become blurred. The game is set to be released for PC and possibly for Console, the release date is unknown at this time but after seeing the trailer, I hope it’s soon and does make it to console!
