An Update On Cameron Romero’s ‘Night Of The Living Dead: Origins’

Earlier this year I reported that Cameron Romero is making a prequel to his father’s 1968 cult classic ‘Night of the Living Dead’. Since the article was published C. Romero has finished his successful crowd funding campaign for ‘Night of the Living Dead: Origins’. The film has now gone into pre-production. Cameron Romero had this to say: “Origins’ is a great opportunity for me to continue the family tradition of creating haunting and ever-evolving depictions of the undead, and a great opportunity for Romero fans to see a story of zombie inception never portrayed before,” Cameron and George Romero C. Romero wrote the screenplay along with Darrin Reed and Bryce C. Campbell. C. Romero will also be directing the project. Joe Dante’s ‘Burying The Ex’ (2015)

Joe Dante, the director of ‘Gremlins’ and ‘The Howling’, is back with a new twisted horror-comedy, titled ‘Burying The Ex’. ‘Burying The Ex’ follows Max (Yelchin), a nice guy and his beautiful, but controlling girlfriend Evelyn (Greene). After moving in together the relationship soon goes down hill when he realizes just how overbearing Evelyn truly is. Max wants out of the relationship, but he’s scared to break it off. Luckily for Max Evelyn is killed in a freak accident. It’s not long before Max meets a cute, spunky girl named Olivia (Daddario), who just might be the one. Only to find out that Evelyn has returned from the grave and will do anything to get Max back, even if it kills him. ‘Fright Night’ actor Anton Yelchin, ‘The Apparition’ actress Ashley Greene and Alexandra Daddario, who starred in ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ will be starring in ‘Burying The Ex’. ‘Burying The Ex’ is set to be released on June 19th of

Movie Review : ‘The Dead 2 : India’

In the 2010 zombie film ‘The Dead’ a zombie plague spreads through Africa like wildfire. Now the Ford Brothers are back with the 2014 sequel ‘The Dead 2: India’. Nicholas, an American engineer working in India is in love with a young Indian woman, who is pregnant. When people begin attacking each other in the streets Nicholas abandons his post to make the journey to the slums of Mumbi, to rescue his girlfriend Ishani (Meenu Mishra) . On the way he rescues Javed, a young orphaned boy, and together they set out to make the dangerous trip to the heart of the outbreak. ‘The Dead 2 ‘ goes beyond the average zombie movie, though they never say the word ‘zombie’ at any point. What it lacks in special FX it more than makes up for it with the story. The zombies are secondary characters in this movie, instead it focuses on the story between the uninfected. It’s common in many
